Had a good time with my older brother last night. Watched a movie, had a beer. He had a near death experience yesterday, as he's a welder, and today we're going to sign some legal documents surrounding his little one. Just in case.

Honestly, the thought of welding on some sixty story beams makes my stomach turn. Dunno how the fucker does it (dollar...).

So that's on the menu today. Also have to go upstate, mow the lawn and do some spring cleaning there. I'll be planting some flowers as well.

Here's to a relaxing day. Stay awesome, people!

Re-watching the latest episode of GoT for any clues I may have missed. This far into the story and I still can't see how its going to end, fantastic storytelling.

Just waking up from a unplanned nap. Woke up fine, did my vitamins, made breakfast, and then just lost momentum entirely and fell back asleep. Should try and get a few key things.done today.

Eating an orange-pecan roll and strawberries and drinking orange juice and Foruming. Penelope, the female mourning dove who nests here every year is cooing out back. We know it's the same bird, because she's a terrible flyer who nearly careens into the livingroom window every time she flies around the corner of the building.

Filling my online basket with sugary goods. Think I'm gonna regret this, but sometimes eating your feelings just tastes too good to say no. :p

    *Diabetes loved that*

Right now I'm sitting down. Finished with the legal stuff, which took too long, but it's worth it.

Hopefully it'll never come into play. Nor will my brother get any abandoning ideas as I've told him,

"Run away an I will find you. I'll find you and you know the rest." :p

I dunno if I can make it upstate since driving with teary eyes isn't the smartest action....

Okay, in all actuality, I just want to get home and nap. Sleep was horrible and I didn't get much.

Especially, if, the Illuminati is a red herring or false flag.
IMO if you're known as a super secret organisation you're not going to shove signs all over the place alerting folks to your existence.

Hunter's in me room looking for mousie, can smell her, but alas still can't find.
Hunter caught and ate a mouse in the kitchen the other day and keeps looking up to the ceiling 'cus he can hear them scurrying around. Fortunately for Hunter it wasn't a poisoned mouse as The Contessa poisons anything that aint hers.

Ride day but fully overcast with dark clouds, however, just looked online and the weather may get worse over the next couple of days, so I chance it and go for ride, 7am (in a few mintutes), as soon as it's light enough for boofheads to see me, as I can't find the lights I bought many moons ago.

It's also writer's group in the village today, so very early ride so I can shower and hit the village by 10:30

As far as creepy spiders go, the Huntsmans are quite placid creatures. They're non aggressive, non poisonous and will usually run away. It's just their size, avg size (leg span) of an adult palm, but they can make creepy noises when they scurry and run across hard surfaces...and they can run quick.

Haha yep, Tassie is still mostly closed on the weekends. Had a young tourist rock up to the art gallery\cafe the other sunday, they recently stopped making food after lunch on that day and he walks up with his w\gf, sees the sign and has a mild hissy fit complaining about what the hell's wrong with this place(tassie).

The only spider that creeps me out in the shack is this huge fat shinny black spider that's made a funnel web right above the dunny door. Sometimes you see her at the funnel entrance, sometimes she's sitting out on her web, and the roof is low so she's only 2ft away from jumping onto my face and ripping my eyes out.

She had hundreds of babies several weeks ago so now there's heaps more black spiders all around the back room. It's creepy 'cus of the web and she's above me and close. She's been in the house for over a year now and I still get shivers down me spine sometimes when I go to the loo.

She too is placid, as I tested her once to see if she was a Funnelweb, super deadly and will attack at the slightest provocation and will bite multiple times. Only tested due to the funnel entrance she made, didn't want a Funnelweb or Brown Recluses in the house as they would kill The Contessa.

Misty rain just started on the last 100m on the return leg.
1:01 in...54 return. Good ride and good timing.
Quick shower, hit the village for writer's group, not on for unknown reasons.
Sitting in warm ute awaiting hot breakie and coffee from cafe.

Trying to wake up properly so I can go go the store. Forgot to buy water last night and I can't stand the taste of chlorine in the local water. It's ok for making tea, but not really for drinking it as is. We'll see if we can find some sort of filter for when/if I move here.

Speaking of moving here. Lost tried to sell me on a place to move to. It's on a little island... with three prisons... and his ex! "But it's cheap living!" Maybe I won't leave Sweden after all.

We have an attachment thing on our kitchen faucet that will filter something like 900l of water before needing to be replaced, or you could get a Brita pot or something similar.

I can personally vouch for the Brita filters. Had those in our house when I was a kid, and bought my own when I moved out. The cartridges can work out expensive though, but they should last for a month before needing replacement. They had boxes of them on offer in the supermarket at times, which was when I'd stock up. If IIRC, one box would last you 6 months.

I used to just leave a pitcher in the fridge. After a couple of hours the chlorine would evaporate off, and sediment would fall to the bottom. Now I have a well, so all I have to do is make sure to keep my resistance to e-coli topped off.

I'm on a well, too. The water tastes great and no E. coli problems. Environmentally good, too - I use no plastic bottles!

My mother had a well at her previous house, but it ran dry so she had to pay to have it deepened.

Hit the sulfur layer, smelled like rotten eggs, and would turn silver jewelry black as my soul in one shower. She moved shortly thereafter for unrelated reasons.

"Working" again, this time at my actual workplace. Watching students cose is hella boring, especially when they do all the problem-solving themselves.

Maybe someone will set something on fire...

About to head out to work hopefully itll be a productive day.
