Today I did some training on the stepper while listening to my „stepper-playlist“. The last song was „Super Trouper“ by ABBA. I sang along and was surprised how much fun I had :).

It really is the little things sometimes:

Got my online food shopping today, and I got everything I ordered.:)
Hoping it's going to last me a minimum of 2 weeks, preferably a month (though that may be a bit too optimistic :p).

Usually I get at least one item not delivered because they've run out or whatever.

Another happy that I've just worked out. My electricity bill over the last 12 months has dropped by 104.60 euro since the year before. Woohoo! :cheerleader:

Electric bills are weird. My wife and I moved into a spacious townhouse with high ceilings and electric forced hot air and central AC. Thought my electric bill would double. Nope. Cheapest I've ever paid. Turns out they classify our building as industrial and give us a much cheaper per kilowatt hour. Why? Don't know. Don't care.

Ah, Facebook. I can't scroll fast enough past the oh-so-cute videos of doggies, kitties, kids, ducks, whatever, but the video of a flash mob choir standing up and singing 'Stand By Me' on an airplane? Watched it three times.

Had a twelve-hour danceathon with the dance team on Thursday for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Since we all have lectures and stuff, we weren't expected to be there the whole twelve hours, but the rule was that for twelve hours straight, at least one person had to be dancing. I didn't have any lectures that day, so I pulled about five/six hours. There weren't many people, so I got pretty much the whole floor. I had so much fun, and I even danced with my crush for a bit (not the ballroom dance-type that involves contact, but still). I really want to do that again some time.

Best way with house spiders is to check the pedipalps; the males have large 'boxing gloves' on them.

In other news: counselling is going well. I may- just possibly may- get back to work in the next few months.

I think, and I may be wrong here, that if it was a daughter it would be giving me sexy looks, instead of just blank indifference.
Although maybe not, especially if she only ever catches me when I'm in the bathroom using the loo.
'Don't know to be honest, I guess it will remain a mystery.
Actually, I've never seen her with my daughters lipstick or mascara, maybe that's the answer?
Actually, speculating on gender like this is just so 'last century', i think maybe I should stop doing it.
I'm just going to call her 'Arthur' from now on, that covers all the bases.

I'd expect nothing less from someone who appears to have Barbie Mercury as their avatar :)

Edit: Whoops, that isn't a mustache...

Oh, wow...nope, not Barbie Mercury. Dibs on the idea if it's not taken though.

Barbie Mercury, Hmm interesting idea, all yours though, enjoy!

I always tried to encourage my kids into 'creative play'; the avatar is my oldest daughter's first venture into practical surgery and Photoshop. (with a bit of help - she was about ten at the time).
It's surprisingly difficult to cut the top off a Barbie's head neatly! we ruined a couple before we did it with a hot wire cutter we made for the purpose.
Barbies are still available on ebay for a £/$ or two, the possibilities are almost endless,,

We also did several variations on the theme, we sold a couple of 'Road Crash Barbies' and a 'Zombie Barbie', my favourite was 'Autopsy Barbie' but sadly I don't have pictures of those.

The Japanese variant of Barbie is called "Rika-chan," and the 100 yen stores (dollar stores, basically) carry knockoffs that I've... enjoyed... over the years. I think the pics are at home, but if I remember I'll try and share some with you sometime.

Just did a big grocery stock-up online, to be delivered tomorrow. It is luscious to be able to get that done without even having to leave the house. :)

Got an email from the Job today. Things are looking up in the long term.

Cue Star-Lord-esque terrible dancing around the place.

Mind you, that's normal for me when I'm not depressed; there's a reason my team voted me Most Likely To Get On YouTube.

Booked a trip to Napa valley today. Stock up on wine now. There will be none left by the time I'm done.
