New addition to the village. About a month ago a pair of swans have chosen one of the four lakes at the base of the village as their new home. Nest is a bit flat due to yesterday's 24hrs of heavy rain, and partner was out window shopping or at the hardware(depending on who's in the pic). The lakes are also home to many platapussies. One was frollicking on the surface but too far away for crappy fone camera to snag a decent shot.
Same moment, lake just to the left; though pic doesn't do it justice. The rain dampened towering lush green hill (is twice as high as pic shows) with the equally dampened jet black cattle in overcast weather was a nice sight. Haha, just noticed, centre cow 'avin' a jolly old wee.
I may have celebrated a little on getting my camera back... Male Blackbird (Turdus Merula) Male Pied Wagtail (Motacilla Alba) Starling (Sturnus Vulgaris)
I'm really camera-shy, so people with a camera have to guide me into taking something decent, lol! I get far more throwaway pics than I do keepers; I suppose that's the burden all camera-shy peeps have to bear.
Finally decided to show my face. Spoiler wrapped because it's a 3d photo, if your monitor isn't equipped correctly it's just going to look weird. The lady behind me followed me home from Cappadocia on one of my visits there. Spoiler: 3d photo
I told my daughter we could go home after I'd eaten my chips. She taught me to eat more efficiently. I was close to choking at the point the photo was taken.
