Writing a rather devious bit of trickery. Of course even the Confederation
men still feel obliged to save a helpless terrified woman from a big scary monster.

Eating Pizza on a beautiful spring day. Sun is shining, birds are singing and shitting. Bees pollinate and wasps spread misery. All is well on this tiny patch of world.

    Edit - Phone error.

So, a father just had a deep heart-to-heart conversation with his daughter right behind me as I ate. I couldn’t hear most of it, but from what I gathered the daughter was confused so he was telling her that she shouldn’t go with “them” because “they’re not one of us, we’re family — we’re your parents.”

Now I’m torn because as a writer this is good profile for a character, but this was someone’s personal conversation they were having (behind me) so it kind of feels like an invasion of privacy. What would you do in this situation?

I think it would be fine to use that kind of experience in a story.
In public places, you give up a bit of privacy as part of the social convention.
So go ahead and use it for a character, it isn't like you can get in trouble for
imitating real life in fiction. :)

Sitting in my writing corner with vanilla incense burning, ready to get my day on. It rained yesterday, so the sky is the color of blue irises...not quite purple, and not quite blue. I don't know the science behind that, but it's what happens in L.A. every time after it rains, and all the greens of the leaves pop against it because they've been cleaned of smog and dust.

Editing me book, had to stop to find an Einstein quote about light, no success, but found another that conveys the same concept. Bookmarked Goodreads.com for the rest of the 40 pages of his quotes to sift through.

Listening to ambient music on me puta while surfing on me tablet, the puta screen running a mesmersing psychedelic screensaver which matches the music.

Bod is telling me it's hungry. Gonna make a smoothie and get back to editing.

Done running around like a headless chicken for the day (been a long one).
So not much got done where I was hoping to get it to that point.
Found out my brilliant WIP strategy isn't going to work as is, but I can
add the little bit and move the characters to where it will be much more
    workable. :)
As for now though, not playing in the snow (yeah kinda a random weather
event for summer), keeping my poodles warm (I included), and it's time for
a beer and a cheap pizza (which should be called a hot cheese cracker with
    meat on it). :p
    :superwhew:

Got two ideas I want to write out, but no time, and come June, I'll have even less.

Skip the gym, work the brain out?

All right, that's it...Time to clone you. :)

Are there areas where you can grab time by doing two things at once, or double up on tasks? Sometimes doing things like making slow cooker meals or having a mini cooking marathon day where you cook once to have multiple meals for a few days helps (1 chopping / cooking / cleanup session = saves time).

Hmm....Not really, unfortunately. I've got about 30 minutes after I wake up to catch up on my messages, another thirty or so after I get to work but before classes start, but that's lousy writing time, busy teachers' lounge. Work work work, gym, might try to fit in some writing between gym and the arrival of Mrs. A and dinner/family time but that block is often taken up with homework/prep time.

Of course, there's always the insomnia time, I've gifted myself with enough of that and wasted it lately.

This is why I get so upset when I'm blocked on those long breaks I have between semesters.

Currently, I am waiting for a call and avoiding: sorting the washing, making dinner, making the bed.
Not that I'm highly skilled at avoidance or anything... :p

Eating cheese and crackers while writing. Ever get to a scene, write it out and think "Huh, that sounded better in my head. Do over" and have this happen multiple times? That's happening at the moment. :p

After this I should get some actual lunch but....eh. Its so hot out that I really want a Strawberry milkshake, not some hot food.

Anyway, peace and love people, may your day be pleasant. :superagree:

I think the technical term might be "clean air".

It's quite common thing in less populated areas.

Doing shots with one of my bosses in one my company's other restaurants on my day off. We're "brainstorming" ideas to make our company more efficient. One more shot and I'm asking for a raise.

Eating 3 chicken samosa, sweating and wondering what I did wrong when I tried to make these before.

Also, just fired a manager who was far too flex happy with the guys. Got a temp planned out so work has been halted. Yay.

Gonna order a Lassi (I owe ten dollars thanks to a new agreement about sugary drinks), then I'll head to meet up with a friend by Central Park. Gonna discuss a project I'm starting. Need her apart of it.

Okay people, you know the drill, have a pleasant day and stay awesome. :superagree:

I'm more or less dead after a hell day at work...

My machine was down and I had to work another line... with new, heavier things to do and new people :bigmeh:

    Tea... then sleep.

Just got back from lunch (carnitas tacos). It's a rainy afternoon, which is lovely, but thunderstorms canceled a walk some friends and I were going on later...and I have cabin fever. Ugh.
