TMW you read a product review on Amazon, and you can't help but imagine @Moon having written it.

It freaking slices and it freaking dices... actually it doesn't dice but it does grate. Zyliss does make a dicer though. Anyways, this beast of a cheese slayer will destroy all that slides down the lane of Dooooom! What? I named mine, cheese slayer and the lane of doom. So it grates cheese and slices the crapola out of some onions, tomatoes and cucumbers. I tried slicing cheese with the slicer, it pretty much told me "roads closed pizza boy, find another way home!" So i did, i stopped trying to slice cheese with this and only grate my cheese now. Its like sprinkled donuts at my house but with cheese. Oh man! I almost forgot the best part! The handle do-hicky-ma-bob (named it) slider doesn't really work with cheese, unless the lane of doom is slick, but that means wet cheese. How freaking ever, the "hdhmb" works fantastic on vegetables when slicing, grating. Now, aren't you glad i didn't tell you how many different ways you can cook shrimp?

TMW you get feedback on you dialogue as being crass.
Ok, my MCs should invite the enemy for tea and biscuits
and speak to them like the nice upstanding, well spoken,
and civilized, people they are. Never mind the fact that they
are fighting a war, gotta make way for politeness and all that. :wotwot:

There's a few variables to consider in this scenario. Chest size of the deceased, and chest size of Corlixia. Type of armour (heavy or light). Whether said armour is short or long. Is it premoulded?
The actual breast tissue itself is pretty malleable, so I imagine most of her chest would simply flatten beneath it. Depending on the overall tightness of the armour, it may not be that uncomfortable. Though she'd probably still be happy to take it off. :p
Thinking more on this, it got me wondering if women are more likely to survive a gunshot wound to the chest, because of breast tissue. Though I suspect it probably hinges more on the type of gun and the bullet.

Wait a minute. They stole the nukes from the bad guys, then
used the nukes to destroy robot soldier factories. Mind you
nukes are seen as a war crime, but I am on the fence as to
how the legal proceedings when everything is said and done
will decide on the limited use of such weapons on non-living
    combatants will be seen.
So no radioactive sugar will be served with tea. :p

TMW you get an email with this as the subject: Pain? Anxiety? Are Gummy Bears really the answer?
I can only assume they mean special green gummy bears, but I won't open it to find out. :p

I don't know what kind of gummy bears you are talking about, but I know that chili gummy bears and some other very strong stimulus things have been in experimental use for anxiety with good results.

The idea has been that a strong sensory stimulus cuts the circling thoughts. It's an sensory intervention type method. (A bit like weight blankets in autism treatment. And those are modifications of sensory methods Temple Grandin developed.)

Those are not medication nor therapy. Those are more like assisted self help methods. And assisting is mostly knowledge like: "Some tell this helped them. It is safe. You can try if you want to or not try if you don't want to."

If you get that kind of email, it's probably different kind of gummy bears.

This link is in Finnish, sorry.

I was given some chilli gummy bears for Christmas by no.1 son.

One of very few things I threw in the bin. Wrong on any and every level.

TMW you're so tired you start crying because your takeaway has gone cold.

I've heard if you eat the Gummi Bears with artificial sweetener, they'll give you the runs. (See various Amazon reviews.)

TMW you find out you can't just request a proof copy of your print book from Amazon, you also have to wait for them to send you an email on the subject, and if you don't click the link on that email in 24 hours, your request goes away.

Heck. I don't remember seeing the notice on that when I requested it the first time, two weeks ago . . .

It does help me. I've done washing up to the Shrek soundtrack before, as well as a rock mix. You can even throw in a bit of dreadful dancing if you're drying stuff too. Just don't drop anything. :p

ETA: With a mop, you can pretend it's a mic. :supercool:
