Oh man, it's 0220 am (redundant, I know) here and I'm the only mod logged in.

    Xander17 doesn't understand the "q:"

Neither do I; I don't leet. I still read XD as "eksdee" and I have no idea what y'all are up to with it, but it doesn't seem derogatory, so I let it slide.

But "the prompt" is the threadstarter's question "What are you doing?"

Accusations of Dumbo-hood should only be addressed to members with suspiciously large ears and long glide-paths.

Now can't we all just get along?

I am reading all of my old blog entries, the ones set to 'private,' and marvelling at how brilliant I was and I am, and how I am now generating a great publicity for my marvel. My arse shines white, I am a prince.

My buddy Joe (who works for GCHQ) is one of your biggest fans, he loves those private ones but won't show them to me, something about 'Muricans being immune from the Official Secrets Act?

Yes, of course. However, if you fly over I shall show you everything, and everything, and why not?

    STATEMENT

Apology to @Earp and to the world of golf. On sister thread I inferred/suggested that 'golf is crap.' I apologise, I can't sleep after this, I'm sorry.

I have seen a lot humans. And I might be prehuman myself. But I have never seen posthumans.

    What are they like?

No need to apologize to me. Your posts are always entertaining, if often incomprehensible, and golf isn't for everybody. Foosball, now ...

Either someone at the Dole fruit cannery is spiking the pineapple or the Aliens are messin' with me again.

After a very busy but relaxing day yesterdee in the village...
    - 2 trips to the dump, found all the ingredients to fix stuff at home.
    2nd trip found these...
...maybe very old , maybe not, The Contessa will know and they're for her.
    - two stops at the takaway shop, yummy pork rolls.
    - fishfingers @ sewing shop weren't ready.
    - hit the bank, they owned me some money.
    - injectors were done, came out heaps cleaner on 2nd run and mech was appreciative for the new experience, thus no charge, even for cleaner fluid.
    - showed him tiny cleaning brushes (as cheap as free) I searched online for him, ordered a bunch and he swapped me a can fuel system degreaser that I need for the final injector install next week or whenever the weather is dry.
    - Didn't pick up 1 package from the postoffice...
...got 4...4 delicious...wonderful...packages, ah, ah, ah, ah ˜cue lighting and thunder˜
    [IMG]
...some of them are vid cards, will open them up sometime over the weekend...also orange Fox gloves came the day before. No built-in padding so that will either be a good or bad thing, will try them today.
    - grabbed some more stuff from the hardware. Had to drive home to check on current equipment, then drive back to the village.
    - Chatted with eBay and Paypal, and did some research while havin' me keto coffee.

Eventually reached home mid arvie, unloaded everything, hopped on me bed for some Clickspring vids and some OJ, pineapple, cheese and crackers. Can't recall what happened after my meal and half awoke sometime in the night sprawled in the opposite direction on(not in it) me bed after having a bunch of super strange and disturbing dreams.

Zonked out again and the crazy dreams continued, awaking at 11pm, all drugs or alien dealings outa my system, so I fired up me puta, made some herb tea and hit me book.

Now 6am, will see if I can go for a ride, then come home and hit the book some more.

Last ride was first day of dried fruit from health shop, dearer than what's on offer @ Woolies, but miles better...incomparably better.

Haah, I saw the glitch in that term as I was writing the post but decided to leave it in.
Posthuman is either a postman or postwoman. Postperson just seems impersonal to me, lacking humanity...but posthuman...that gives me the feels.

It's okay Iain, and I appreciate your concern...even if Rae_3 was referring to me, I'm joyfully curious, not in the least bit offended.
Plus, I think if someone was upset and wanted to relatiate with a nasty insult, they wouldn't use "dumbo", thus if the term was about me I take it as playfulness.

But will see what Rae_3 has to say on the matter...and my bad for EDIT> NOT showing my emotional state in my post...I do often forget I don't respond to social situations the same as most folks I experience

So I went ouside just before dawn, the sky is full to the brim with dark storm clouds, but I notice it had rained last night and had now stopped, plus it was warm so I went to the bike shed to see what's the temp...

    ... it's 7.6, that's good riding weather...
"But the clouds", I think to myself as I scan the horizons again, then Tempie whispered in my ear, "Go for a ride... go for a ride."

So I did. In the village at the mo... a most enjoyable ride thus far, signs of recent rain as I got closer. Will see if I get wet on the return.

    Noon:
    Chillin' after an excellent ride.
Just had some warm stew, pineapple and OJ.
Waiting for an eBay auction to reach the critical point....oh what a rush ! <---goofy idiot.

I learnt something nice about me trip puta today.
No rain on the way in or while resting in the village.
The sky and landscape was most beautiful as I hit the road to go home.
I turned back after a km to take some pics.
I tend not to take pics while riding due to interference in my ride time log book.
But as I slowly rode around the village looking for optimal shooting locations I decided to see if the timer stopped (while recording a run) when the bike's at rest.
It does, then continues on when I take off, so I can stop and take as many effing pics as the heart desires. The ride time will be slightly longer due to constant (de)accelerations, but I can live with that.

So I took several pics then hit the trail, a couple of times short wafts of mist level rain lovingly greeted me, then on the last km I was met by a very light drizzle that didn't even dampen me thermals.

The drizzle stops before I hit my street, I do my cool down routine then head in, and in a minute or two I hear heavier rain on the tin roof. Wasn't that just so nice of the rain to hold off for me, especially since I spent so much time in the village and stopping along the way home to take more pics.

Passing on all the other stuff here for it being just too many things to comment/joke about I will settle for dealing with the following:

And I will deal with them like this: pineapples.jpg
Sorry, I had to show off a bit here, but then depending on where you live down under you could possibly grow your own too. It only takes 3 years for the first one when starting them from tops.

Useless (I hope) fact: the interior diameter of an expended LAW rocket launcher is the perfect size to hold the spoon down on a Vietnam-era grenade. If you drill a hole and put a pin through the tube at one end, you can slide like six or seven grenades down the tube, pulling the pin on each one as you put it in. Then you mount the tube vertically to a tree or something and run a tripwire from the pin you put in the rocket launcher tube. When someone pulls the wire, the grenades spill out onto the ground, each one starting its five-second timer as it falls.

    It's like Satan's own pinata.

Well aren't those just the cutest things!
I tip my hat to you sir for your efforts and attitude.

Parents had a fruit and vege garden back up north when I was a wee kid, now living in a peaceful rural setting in tassie I keep having thoughts of a garden, but alas, not in this specifc location, but it's on my to do list, as I'd like to be as self reliant as possible.

And yeah, often far too may posts to respond to, especially when one has other things to do.

Wasn't it more usual to just put a single grenade in a C rations can

Depends on what you were going for, the LAW tube would create too many explosions to handle.

Depending on how far south you are would decide if pineapples are an option outdoors, but I've read that they can be grown indoors in very large pots. I started mine in 5 Gal. buckets, that would be around 19 liters I'm guessing and those would have been fine if I had lived so far north that I couldn't leave them out year-round.

Just remember the climate is upside-down between us.

Another thought, ripening on the plant did sooooooo much for the flavor over what I was getting from the supermarket.
