"Nothing more..."Echoed Daryoon, he raised his hand. There was a curent in the room, a windful energy that swooped the man and returned him to his seat where he was invisibly binded. "Let me make myself clear, nobody walks out on me." He dictated, "Now, everyone wants more- It is the way of the world, I am not so naive as to believe you are only here for my sister's hand and our port city- It is meager to yours. There is more to you, I know there is." He murmured softly. The fact that the Surmin prince dabbled in the dark arts was merely a rumor, until now.

"I would gladly give her to you." He said, "You are aware that she pines for a Knight in our midsts, I wouldn't put it above her to cockhold you later in the marriage. Not that you would care, I suspect you'd be sailing away into some macabre adventure in search for that creature in your sigil...The Kraken." He whispered with a knowing look. "I know more about you than you think, Garrick. I know you wish to control the seas with such a find and god knows what else it is you seek...They think you are Sinbad come to life, a fabled sea hero, but you are not. You are only a man."

Danr remembered telling Alia that we were all prisoners here. He felt he understood him self even more at this moment. Dane was infuriated by being held and blinded. Nothing he was told had mentioned the man was any sort of magic user. It took all his willpower to keep his mouth shut during the speech. The only solace he found was that the man didn't fully conceive what and how his people worked with the sea. Though much is revealed, the deeper secrets are still somewhat strong. He wasn't giving any of that away.

"My people and I have no intention to control the sea, nor would it let us anyway." The words spat out at Daryoon. Dane was deeply afraid of control. He feared paralysis above pain. This was his nightmare. A rage built inside of him, and he could feel the creature move to shallow waters. It reached for a small fishing vessel. No, he thought, please don't, I will show strength, I am not weak to a common wizard. The tentacle brushed the hull, but released it.

    We shall see.

He still didn't want to give any the source of his power. The man may hear things, but he hasn't seen. "One doesn't search for the creature. It isn't a pet to be leashed and chained. It chooses who lives and dies. I have no need to search for it." I already know where it is. I always know where it is, he thought. He tried with all his might not to move or show signs of struggle.

He thought of Alia, and knew how the world rested on her shoulders, but she fell through it blissfully unaware. It was maddening in a sort. "If you wish to give her away, then do it. She already has mutual interest in me, so by our customs this is not forced. A knight that she fancies would be my problem, not yours." He needed her, and hoped it would be so easy.

"I am not about to hurt a prominant member of a known house here." He assured him. "I simply require some honesty. I care for my country like you do, I even care for my little sister's happiness hence our shelving of the one eyed lord. It made every sence to send her off in marriage to the brute, but he would've hurt her, I suspect even broken her. You? I would expect her to string you about her finger like the rest of her toys." He said with a smile. "Of course she would have, with all your stories of an ancient creature and the adventures you went on...what woman wouldn't?"

He let him sink back into his chair, loosening his invisible power. "I mean it, Dane. If you are serious about her, call off your ships- and we shall discuss matters like civilized folk when you do." He laid down his terms right there.

He felt the shackles of paralysis loosen, and shook it off as if it were a physical object. A look of detest still rest upon his face. "Why do you think I sent my brother there? I was already calling them off, or at least to hold position and stay away from the city. My brother is a messenger. In your world, he is like a diplomat, but in ours he is not merely that. Fast word is a luxury with an empire spread." Dane wiped his arms as if to ensure nothing more resisted his movement. He looked at Daryoon with a frown.

I am the one being civilized here, he thought, everyone else has their teeth barred. "And the fleet was never my call to begin with. I am the one who has been holding it back."

"Why should I trust your word?" He asked him, then threw a parchement and a quill upon the smooth expanse of the table nearest to him. "Send a missive with that very sentiment out to your brother, one of them would get there sooner. I'll conduct the delivery. " He indicated, it was a long shot making him write anything on paper but it was something he would bet on lest the sailor bastard rip them to shreds with his innocent act.

"I will ring your union with Alia in the morrow if you do, I'll even enforce my decision with the rest of the council- Do it, prove your loyalty to us."

Loyalty to a house I've only recently met, pondered Dane, one who held me against my will in a chair with magic. One who is clearly afraid of our powers, and can't comprehend the wonder that they have. No, Alia must not be given to me, she must take it on her own accord. If I take her, he feared, the sea would not agree. He could already feel its distaste at the notion of control.

Dane pushed it back to Daryoon after some contemplation. "No. I am loyal to family, always. You are not family, yet. Alia must choose me, as that is the way of my house and people. I could sign this and take her, if I trusted you, but I would be rejected by my own people."

He leaned back in his chair as another, more advantageous thought came to mind. "If Alia has already pressed Lord Raslan to the brink of invasion, why would you push away a potential ally?" Dane put his fingers together, and nodded his head forward knowingly.

"I think you need to trust in me. Whether you want to or not"

"Why...you little-" Spat Daryoon as he stood from his seat, sheer unpronouncable fury in his gaze. He could order a beheading, pin whatever crime on the young idiot and have him be done with. He was about to throw him in a cell for his presumptions on his sister. He expected the woman to choose him, his sister would sooner dangle herself over every man than choose one singular sui-

"Forgive my intrusion, Highness." Said a soft voice in the doorway. Lady Sasha was his sister's close companion and confidant, she had shared his bed at times too and saw no threat in desparging their heated conversation. "The princess would like to declare the chosen suitor. It was just decided, Prince Dane would be her intended." Said Sasha eyeing the young man in his chair appreaciatively, albeit curiously.

"That little bitch can't do that..." Thundered Daryoon.

"She mentioned it is the way of the prince's people, that she would be able to choose on her own. She chooses him." She said nodding towards Dane.

Daryoon marched towards the girl, his hand raised about to slap her for her insolence. But the voices by the doorway stilled his hand. "Give it up, Daryoon." Said Noah.

"She wants him, let her have him." Said Darius with a shrug.

"It's all for the best, we'd finally be done with all this ridiculous entertaining." Said Isaac while Ram nodded beside him.

    Four voices against one.

"He's planning something! I know he is!" Said Daryoon, raising a finger towards the man in his seat.

"Let me have a look at those documents." Said Noah, leaning beyond Dane to look upon the many scrolls they would require him to sign.

"This should suffice." Said the eldest prince, handing over the betrothal contracts to Dane. "You do want her too, don't you?" He asked him pointedly.

Dane gave a small smile towards the handmaiden, calming her fears of the brother's wrath. With his eyes still fixed on hers, he softly spoke to the group "of course. I wouldn't want it any other way." Dane nodded to young woman, and she took the signal. The handmaiden scurried away, hopefully and most likely back to his now bride-to-be. I hope this can hold back the tides, Dane thought. Men lying in wait war so long gain a hunger for it. He hoped his father's mind had not given in to its wild thoughts again. I did what was asked of me, even found enjoyment in it. I hope he hasn't forgotten.

Realizing the awkwardly extended silence he had created, Dane quickly grasped the documents and brought them to the desk to complete. Before he signed though, he spoke.

"I want you all to understand," he looked directly at Daryoon while placing his hand on the chair, "I am not, and have never been, your enemy. I'm not here to steal away your sister, divulge all your secrets through spying, or bring ruin to your house and land. I'm simply here for Alia, and my kingdom is here for access to the port city for the trade network." If anything, the brother's kingdom stood to gain more through this marriage, than his father's. They would be foolish not to recognize this. Unless they knew of the real value of the girl. He looked back around to all of them. "I can be a dependable and worthy brother, you all just need to see that, and know it. You aren't losing anything today, you're gaining a powerful friend." He looked each brother in the eye directly, as the make the message individual to each. "Thank you."

Dane took a deep breathe. Their problems would quickly become his. Their world would start to change as they came to discover the power of his. He thought of Daryoon's magic. Maybe ours would too. The Kraken moved about with impatience.

He began to sign the documents.

Alia awaited the girl in her bed chamber. She felt hot, worried, nervous all at once- the slaves about her fanning away the heat did not help, nothing helped. Her clothing were miniscule, barely covering anything at all yet she wanted to tear her very skin away and fall into ice. Gosh, where was that girl?

Sasha finally arrived, waving the precious documents to her. The princess leapt to her feet to look upon the papers one by one- "I think he knew you would turn up. He looked quite confident about your decision." Murmured the handmaiden.

Alia took the scrolls to her desk, drew up her own seal next to his. "That arrogant, cocky, divine...Mmph..."She moaned under her breath, wanting him then and there.

"They're still barracading him inside, Daryoon is the only one upset about it though."

"Yes, because he actually lost at something. He hates losing."

"Would you like to change? Perhaps they would ring for you soon." Said Sasha eyeing the over exposed flesh in concern.

    "No."

Soon, a messenger would be by her door announcing that they needed her in the main court hall. They would salut to the union and keep her beside her intended.

Her steps echoed about the hushed halls, every male and female paused all activity to stare at the beguiling presence as she made her way forward, unashamed, utterly transfixed on the man that would finally claim her.

"Dane..."She breathed, stepping into his arms without any regard for courtly decorums to give him a kiss. She pressed against his clothed form, like a slave to her master. It was hard to regard the haughty thing as anything belonging to such submissive behavior but she was like a cat upon cream, her finger tips never ceased touching the man she had chosen.

Her brothers looked away, allowing her this show of seductive dication. They all knew she was of a sensual nature, and would finally unleash it here for all to see. "I can't wait for you to come inside me..."She whispered in his ear, "I've dreamed of it. I've dreamed of you."

"Oh, I promise you, we'll finish what we started," he whispered back. Dane had to clench one of his fists slightly so the stiffness didn't grow too large in his breeches. This was it. He had her, and everything that came with her. His brother had always said marrying was the shortest and easiest part of the whole business. It's everything that comes with that can be trouble. He was accustomed to trouble, and with a body like that, he felt he could deal with anything. He wanted to brush off the dusting of clothing she wore and take her right here, in front of her kingdom, but that would be a poor way to introduce himself to a family he essentially just met. They would have much time for that later.

He took her hands in his and stared directly into her large, doe eyes. He could see the innocence in the seductress, a strange contrast. He could feel the creature take off from its resting place. It was headed to meet her as well. It tired of living vicariously through another. The seas were in upheaval. Dane could feel it as he looked deep into the universe held within an orb. They were calling.

"Are you ready, Alia? Are you strong enough to handle the toughness of my world? Our women stand strong, resolute in their actions. Many as equals with the men. You will be higher than all of them. I will be there with you, but you must show your own strength. Are you ready?"

The rewards of an islanders life were great, but the seas and skies could turn with drop of hat. She needed the strength to command to make it. She would be a queen someday. A queen of the sea. The Kraken believed this was the woman, so Dane must as well. He must trust in his own beliefs. He had found the first half of the prophecy, but he worried for her strength on the second half. Dane didn't think the five strong were the brothers anymore.

She smiled against his neck, ignored their public completly and stayed by his arm. There were no thoughts of William, nor did she care about her brothers glaring right by them. She only cared for him, his hair, his wonderful smile, his protective presence. Alia was oblivious of his plans, his prophecies, and though he did mention it that night- she did not think that was his main reason for wanting her.

When he asked her if she was ready, her initial reaction was to give him another kiss, until he told her of his world, of their women , of how high and mighty he could make her. "Yes." She replied to his repeated question. "Always."

The ceremony extended for days. Every suitor by then left the palace, leaving behind seamstresses, jewelers, and other frantic craftsmen. Her trunks were in order, her ladies as well. She was about to leave her and embark on a long journey to Dane's world. Here, while she glided upon the planks of his vast ship. She resembled a hot house flower, her silken robes, jewelry and hair was done for a gala- and not for the windy decks of his abode.

"Dane, darling...it's all so wonderful here. How many days is it to our destination?"

Dane strode upon shining deck of his grand Carrack, basking in the warm breeze of the Southern seas. He tasted the salt on his breath, and cherished the gentle lapping of the cool water against the stained redwood hull. Every creak and groan, every wayward rope and flapping flag about the great masts made him feel at home. Dane smiled a lovingly at the sight. He had spent nearly eight years aboard the massive vessel, Trinaria's Courage, on an expedition into the abyss. The Courage, and its crew, had lived up to its name.

Three masts shot up from the decks, with six sails of varying size. Netting expanded in width down the sides at an angle from the crow's nests of each, some with crew deftly maneuvering the dizzying heights in preparation for the voyage. Dane watched them swing and step confidently as they did their diligence across the wide berth of the rigging. He remembered his childhood, climbing the netting with the crew, and turning midway up just to dive from a height into the sea. He remembered the first mate would always scold him mod dive, whilst calling for immediate fueling of the sails. He wouldn't have given up his childhood for anything. A fish he was, and at last, away from the dry of the desert, he could breathe once more.

"Captain," spoke a grisled voice from behind, " whenever you're finished staring at the shit usual, the manifest is prepared and the checks are just coming to completion. Do you have a minute?" The first mate Garrus was as honest and loyal as they came, but a filter was something yet to be added. Dane snickered at the blunt approach, but welcomed it as always. Getting sworn at on a daily basis was a light price to pay for a first mate who never lost cargo.

"Give it here, Garrus. I take it you accounted for my new wife and the guests?" Dane asked inquisitively.

Garrus nodded, "and for the twelve left behind to set up a trade embassy." Garrus paused momentarily as he thought, then frowned. "And for the last minute, uninvited swab of a brother the honourable king left in the port."

Dane excitedly said, "Excellent!" and continued mulling over the paperwork before signing without really reading. He had too much already on his mind, and the presence of Rik put his focus over the edge.

As Dane shoved the paperwork back into the First Mate's hands, he noticed a sight he never saw on his own ship before, a most beautiful flower. It made him pause and break his port routine. Everytime he first saw his new wife, it mesmerized him. Her outfits were so specifically chosen to draw attention, and she had him fully. Her handmaidens were beautiful, but lacked the draw of her power. He smiled devilishly, thinking of later on, sharing his fine captain's cabin with such an attractive woman, and continue what was so rudely interrupted before. She was to be a queen one day, of more than she knew.

"Quit staring, you pathetic runt!" Shot the quartermaster, Jack Downey, from the quarter deck. "Scrub!" A deckhand had forgotten his duties and stared at his woman and her entourage, he quickly returned, scrubbing harder than ever. Dane had some other ideas.

"Jack! I've got something better for the boy."

Jack smirked at Dane. "Aye, Captain." Then he growled at the boy, "You heard the man, getting your ass up and move!" The younger sailor, barely an adult, likely not even, ran across deck to Dane.

"Ye...yeh Sir...uh...cap...Captain!" the boy shuddered out. Jack shook his head in disgust. "You called for me?"

Dane took him by the shoulders and turned him towards the women. "So you like looking at the pretty girls, eh?" The boy looked at him with fear. Then Dane whispered, "so do I. Just don't stare at the most incredible one, she's mine." He got a shocked laugh out of the deckhand. "But I think I have an important task for you. How about you grab a few hands and carry those luggage for the women down to the guest rooms. Can you do that for me?" The boy nodded incredibly fast and hurried off to find his best friends for the job, as all new boys did.

Dane approached Alia finally, ready to begin this journey with her, and many others. "Welcome, my sweet siren of the sea. Welcome, to the gate from your world to mine." He took her hands and looked into her eyes happily. She asked him how long it would take. "That entirely depends on where you would like to go. But first, we should head to the great mountain city of Harenhad on the Corus Isles. That's my family home. The King will expect us. That's a twelve day journey in fair weather. Are you ready to leave?" He had to be sure she was comfortable and ready completely. It was likely a long while before they ever made it back here.

She had imagined ships before. Imagined rough white sails blowing against the wind; imagined glossy wooden decks and busy sailors but nothing prepared her for this. Yes, her entourage and herself did look out of place with their silks and flowing gowns but that did not stop them from glancing over the high beams, and again towards the sea. This was Dane's world. She thought to herself, and though there was excitement in her heart she couldn't help looking behind her now at the rare sight of Sur'men'ra'a's bustling portland. She wondered if she would fit in here if she would make him a suitable mate- for he expected much of her and it weighed on her to be more than just pretty face.

Perhaps that is all she represented with her midnight curls and sublime body cast in shimmering gossamer, but there was something beneath it all- something untapped, both sensual and mysterious. It was the main reason why most of his mates tripped upon themselves to see her, her ladies took note and seemed to be entertained by beguiling the common staff, Alia, however, sought him while a boy came forward to assist with their luggage.

"You make it all so dramatic." She said, sliding her arms over his shoulders towards his nape. "Do you think he'll like me?" She asked softly, nodding at his offhanded question on her preparation to depart.

She was ready, more than ready to seek more of the world.

Dane gave a simple, sweet smile. "I know he will." She was indeed the jewel lost at sea, found by what couldn't be happenstance. Prophecies don't make mistakes, or lack sincerity. No, something was coming on the winds, often seas. Troubles brewed, under clear skies and gentle breezes unseen by the pair lost in each others eyes. Dane knew it, but didn't care to acknowledge it. But the cold touch of the tentacles across his chest told a story of what was to come. The Kraken needed to return, the seas would require command once more. She was the key, more than a pleasure piece to play with. No, she was a harbinger. But of what, he thought, and to whom.

His eyes blued coldly despite his warm embrace. "He wants nothing more than to see his family grow," Dane paused for a minute, breathing a little deeper, "and line continue, of course." He chuckled slightly, and noticed his young deckhand eyeing the lady Sasha, and her seemingly eyeing him back. These women are going to be some trouble on deck, he thought, hopefully just a little bit, to keep the crew on edge.

Dane looked to his first mate and nodded, "Harenhad it is." The man instantly spun and barked orders across the deck. Men and women rushed to positions with strong purpose, yet complete control. It was like watching a choreographed show of trapeze artists in a forum, throwing lines and spooling anchors.

Dane brought his lady to the taffarail facing the port. His hand held the small of her back, with a caressing, light touch, barely pressing through the fabrics. He peered off to the docks, viewing those left behind wave goodbye. Maybe good riddance, he pondered in a laughable thought, to the trouble. Gulls flocked fisherman for their catch, and the bustle of city life was on the edge of separation.

He spoke to her without looking, but he held Alia close. "There's much more to do at the Corus Islands than simply meet my family. The seas speaks to all of us in our family." Dabe could feel the warmth grow all around his body. He could feel all of his markings calling out to ocean. "It will speak to you too now, I sincerely hope. We shall see."

He paused in his seriousness. It was too much to be a drone of prophecies and times of contention ahead. "In the mean time, I hope the extraordinary sunsets will help show you the beauty of what's out here." Dane turned with a smile, and kissed his new wife. "At least just a taste of it." He loved the sweetness of her lips, the feeling of her expert tongue against his.

I can live with this, without a doubt. Then he did it again.

Alia had never been on a ship before. The energy of busy sailors going on, the shipmates above, pulling the ropes, ushering the sails- This was Dane's world. She understood how he could not fit in her own, the series of soirees, of noblemen and the rest of her family's stuffy galas. His wife did not recognize his endurance then, she did now. He had waited it all out for her, and as soon as he came to her, she turned into his arm and planted a passionate kiss on his lips.

He then went on to speak of his sea and his islands. It sounded insane, what he was going on and about- but Alia perceived it to be another metaphorical speech. Yes, she saw his tattoo glow, heard his chatter about legends and though she found it charming, as one would indulge in little children believing in their stories- it wasn't something she took literally.

"It is all...very you." She finally answered with a smile, the sun reflecting in her dark orbs. She enjoyed being enveloped in him, his powerful arms as they held her close, the way he turned her breathless in minutes.

It was obvious to all, that the bride adored her husband.

Korrinne Kellum lazily perched on the quarterdeck's back railing, overlooking the taffarail that the fresh couple found their moment of peace on. There he is, she thought, there's that boy I made into a man. Pleased with herself, she heartily ate a pear she stole from the stockroom, stuffing it down before that damned quartermaster caught wind of her skipping her duties. I've been up all damned night anyways rigging this floating kegger. I deserve a little R & R from the shit show for now.

Juice from the pear ran lightly down the corner of her mouth, lightly pattering on her blackened leather strappings. They mostly covered her body, in an ornate manner, hugging her like octopus tentacles, yet leaving little gaps between for breeze and ease of movement. Sharkskin boots rode up her calves, tightly grasping her skin. Her hair was of a deep burgundy, like the leaves of shallow kelp, and its wave flowed in the gentle breeze as the currents of the ocean crossed her path. Harmonious in frequency, and dictation.

Kori was thin, but strong, muscles tightly pulled together in a slight figure; on that could flip a man twice her size and break his back upon the decks. Many a times she had done nearly that. She remembered when Dane asked her to do that to him. She remembered breaking his bed with his weight as she tossed him hungrily upon it. It crashed heartily to the floor, but his appetite didn't sway in the destruction. Those deft hands untangled the leather wrappings like they were loose strings, and the whole ship seemed to buckle and bend with their motions that night. Nights on the isles. She missed them, and him. And there the swash is, off with another little fuckable harlot, oblivious to the hurt she's going to bear. Envy and jealousy ran deep in her blood.

And I want to be the one to do it to her.

Her pear's taste went sour, and its fruit turned to sand in her mouth, as the distaste from watching Dane and Alia grew from within. Tired of it, she tossed the pear just passed Dane's head, and into the bay. Dane could hear it blow through the air, and hazarded a glance to the water as it landed. He looked up angrily, trying to catch a glimpse of whoever dared disturb his time alone with his wife. And there she stood, amused, devilishly smiling the way he remembered just before she would cause a scene. Dane sucked in a quick breath, closed his eyes and tilted his head, then let it all out a once as a sigh. Perfect, she thought, he wasn't prepared to see me on deck.

"Oi! Takin' a new prize home to daddy then, eh?" she bellowed from above in a thick Northern Isle accent. "How you like it, right? Softie with tits bigger than yer head, and a plum ass you can stick your - "

"Why the fuck are you on my ship?" Dane lashed out, furiously staring at Kori. "What give's you any right to speak that way to a -"

"A Prince? A Prince you're going to say, right?" She knew she got him now. "Last time that subject came up, you told me you'd rather fuck 'alf the whores in Siren's wharf before you took that position. And if I'm not mistaken," her smirk grew to a ear-to-ear smile, "that's exactly what you did!" She blew a kiss straight at him, and winked at Alia.

Dane looked shocked, and then charged around the railing o find the stair up to the quarterdeck, yelling for Garrus to round her up.

All eyes on me. Couple lashings, maybe the brig, but not the plank. Oh no,
she thought, he wouldn't dump me out there. No Dane, with all your seductive virtues, and your new found power, you still need me, and you still want me. The fire between them in her memories was strong. She was his spy, his courtesan. She knew things about him he barely knew, knew his real world and his real home. And she shared a little of that too. Some secrets a man gives can't be taken back. Some powers given can't be again removed. In the end, I won't need to come for him. Married or not, he'll come to me.

Alia breathed him in, she enjoyed his powerful arms around her until-

She glanced towards the almost feminine voice above them, and finally spotted the red haired waif. Her gaze narrowed as she watched the exchange between them. They were familiar...too familiar. Why, if she didn't know any better she would've surmised there was history here. Perhaps, involving a bed too. That was soon clarified when the urchin gave her husband a flying kiss, and she even dared wink at her.

Alia was not new to women, she had enjoyed her own harem girls. She even knew their tricks, how each one boasted of a sexual skill that would put them all to shame. Alia didn't care to learn any of their desperate tricks. She was beautiful, desirable, and moreover she had enough money to buy everyone's attention. The scene before her was similar to what those girls have done to catch her brothers' attention. It was desperate.

She leaned back against the rail and watched, murmuring a soft exclamation that was meant to put the creature running off like a rodent under a more miserable light. "Heavens, what in the world is that?"

The wench thought she was a mere- what was it? A softie? Though she didn't know what that meant exactly, she wasn't so vain as to take it as a compliment. The girl was mocking her.

"Oh Dannne. Do be careful!" She called in her scratchiest most seductive voice. Yes, she was slightly disappointed he didn't whisk her away to make love to her until everyone heard- No, he was too busy running after someone else to do that.

Two years and twenty thousand leagues had passed since he had last lay eyes on the winter islands girl, the Nord belle of the North. The sight of her brought on rage, painful memories, jealousy...and a hint of excitement.

    No!
Dane thought as he ran over to cut her off, I must not think that!

He remembered the fire of their relationship. The power she had over him, and that she gave him over his people. They approved of her, likely more than they had of his demeanor. After all those years at see looking for his mother's prophecy on his father's orders, she had followed him quietly. Years as a seadog, perched on the crow's nest, or swinging down the rigging, she was the beauty that everyone laid eyes on. New swabs got hired on when they made port of call, and everyone made a pass at her, but they regretted it. She was the snow cat, the minx mounted on her spot, to take any man she desired, but decisively took none. Korrinne eyed the captain only, when she thought he wasn't watching, spying for her own lands, as she had told him some time later.

She was a good rigger, and a treasure as an informant or detective, but what he really loved was her attitude and fire. It made him want to tie her down with those damnable straps to his bed posts and -

No damn it! I need to lock her down and out. She can't be here right now. I can't deal with it again. He remembered that fateful night. The night he tucked away from his position, and cowered from duty. The night she went too far, and the lady made her last port off his ship. Dane didn't want to think of it, to remember it. It's beneath me now. She's beneath me.

He blocked the stairway for her escape, but she walked over to the edge, obviously not looking for a real escape. Arms crossed, she leaned on the post at the top, lazily eyeing down with a smirk and a tilt of her head. Her hair flowed against the wind, keeping time with speed of the waves off the prow. Korrinne's hips cocked to the side, tight in her leather bondage. "Just playin' there now, no need to get all huffy on me." She remarked, lackadaisically, "just don't remember men like you pining after court ladies and harboring in fluffed beds."

Dane wasn't in the mood for a reunion right now, or ever for that matter. He blocked the last memories of her out of his mind, but with great difficulty. "I'm only going to ask you once more before I through you in the brig for being a mutinous bitch. What the fuck are you doing on my ship?" Dane was not sporting with her. He knew where it led, and how she'd twist even his honeyed words. Straightforward was the only way. What was her game here? After all this time, why here, and why now? He thought shortly of Alia, and then of the memories of Kori. There wasn't much to put together, but he thought he must already know her play to start. She's playing the people.

Kori walked down the stairs, seductively stepping her boots flat to each step to draw all eyes on her with the pounding of her feet in time. "Aww no hard feelin's now. I'm just saying 'ello. Too stuck up and noble to fuck 'round with the crew eh? Not like the old days. Not the same fuckin' around anymore." She poked out a finger as she reached him, pushing his chest lightly with it, and he gave way. "Promise I'll give puckerin' up like old Garrus a try, nowadays." She walked away toward a glaring and fuming quartermaster, gripping his lists as if he were ready to snap them. Then she looked back, just for a moment to say "Hope she lives up to what people want."

I was right. That's exactly the card she'll play. Alia had a lot she needed to prove, and damned fast. This wasn't going to be an easy trip to say the least. He hoped she was ready.

Garrus began barking orders at her as she passed him, and when she tried to brush it off, he smacked her on the back of the head with his folder. She scampered up the netting with ease afterward, up to the crow's nest, and Dane watched her with ease, head cocked to the side, rising in his trowsers as he watched her fine body make short work of the tricky footing. And the leather showed every curve, more seductively then nudity. It was a privilege to remove it.

Oh for fuck's sake, pull yourself together! Dane shook his head at the quartermaster and spoke "she better not make one scene on this ship, or she's going to live in brig on bread and water for the voyage."

"Aye, sir!" barked the old seadog, "I'll 'ave the boots dumping their buckets on the floor o' the brig for her bed when she gets there. You know how the lady is." They both eyed each other knowingly and sighed. Garrus then said "we were out of experience when your father called for the fleets out at that dead sandbar. We picked up whoever was left. None better up in the air you remember."

"Aye, I do." I most certainly remember everything about her. I don't think I could ever forget what we did together. What I let her become.

Alia watched him bound off after the redhead, her dark gaze following him until she was beyond her vision. Perhaps, Sasha and Diana noticed her dark mood. Or maybe they too were irked by the disturbance. They stood on either side of her now. Sasha didn't need an indication for she followed to inspect this new character and her mistress's groom.

"I'm sure she's nothing to him." Said Diana while Alia turned away towards the lulling waves. Her dark curls blew behind her by a wayward breeze while her friend looked on, a frown on her face. "Or maybe I've made a mistake." She murmured. Well, come to think of it- What did she really have in common with Dane? He was merely there to secure an alliance and was reportedly about to leave if not for his babbling on about a prophecy that she could fulfill. They were attracted to one another, true- but was it enough to build her life around? Would this be their way? To be so easily pulled away from her by rowdy women?

It wasn't her fault that she was born into prestige, wealth and a culture that encouraged her sensuality as a woman. Here, it seemed they preferred girls who acted like boys- Peculiar. Dane would prove an idiot if he made an enemy of her, if she ever found him with another woman...maybe she would prove to be just as murderous, not in that sense but in the way that would make him see red. It was so easy to cuckold husbands these days, and she was never short for options.

Diana touched her, her handmaiden always knew how to touch her. "Let's go below deck while Sasha finishes up." Maybe they kissed softly, maybe they'd attracted a few eyes before both girls stepped below, their faces flushed and beaming.

Sasha stared. This was not just some oddball fancy, the man grew an erection in his pants while he argued with the thing. She speculated, wondered and whatever slurred speech between them she gathered that her instincts were correct the first time. There was history here, something the princess would not approve of- of course, knowing Alia she would most likely give him what she got. It was a disastrous start for a marriage, and Dane couldn't be so stupid as to indulge in an affair when they barely set off on a honeymoon. But he was attracted to the redhead, maybe more than Alia herself though she'd never voice that out loud.

Below, their voices echoed through the narrow corridor. Breathless, spoiled moans and the unmistakable slappish wet sounds one would expect from...but these were not masculine grunts and growls, this was...

"Yes!...Yes!" She finally found herself coming on Diana's lips, while the girl licked her all up. Both of them were naked, glistening, and awe-inspiring. There were some shipmates that lingered a bit too long at the edge of the corridor, listening in to the two beautiful girls that have disappeared further down the captain's rooms.
