I join anything, really. If I'm not good at it, I learn. I mean, hell, the only other roleplay going on here right now is a one-on-one fantasy romance/somewhat erotica. None of which I've ever wrote before. It's all just good practice really. I'm too busy to make my own game, but I don't give up on anything really, so you never really need to worry about me forgetting to post. I tried to save the last few on here by keeping them busy. Make a game, I'll play.
That's good to hear. I go pretty deep with worldbuilding, maps, story arcs, and NPCs in my roleplays, so it'll likely take another month before I have everything squared away. But I have the synopsis/pitch finished. I could PM it to you to look over now if you'd like?
If you would like, but I'm game with pretty much anything and pretty versatile. If you do, I'll create a character based on the environment you have at this time and send it over to you after a while. Takes me a week to make a character usually. I like creating a history for them to build from.
In my case, players won't just create a character, they'll create a civilization. I'm working on a fantasy city-state roleplay where players grow and govern their factions, explore their unusual environment, manage their resources, and navigate inter-player politics.
Excellent. I'm very interested. This is a bit different than I am used to. Usually I do the play-by-post single character stories. Probably good it isn't for another few weeks because I'll need to learn how to play this type of RPG. Sounds exciting though.
Ah, I was considering starting a new RP too and was hoping to see a smidgen more activity! Still, anyone intrigued by the idea of a role play that is both a writing challenge and "social experiment"? Not that I consider myself any sort of scientist, just sounded fun. The idea behind it is to fill the shoes of a character you don't know beforehand and play them how you think they should be from within their situation in the story, with or against player characters who may not only be strangers but also have roles only the other player is aware of. Would only have the immediate settings and each person's own character sheets to reference for the sake of deducing info. Story-wise, it's a bit like a murder mystery. Fantasy setting with adventure, political intrigue, war, romance, betrayal, some horror, etc. I have a fairly complicated plot already worked out.
@Katibel @Bone2pick Just checking up to see if either of you are still planning on posting up an RPG to start on here. Both of yours are pretty interesting, and I could handle playing both simultaneously well if either or both of you feel like starting up your projects. Just let me know.

Hi guys I actually could offer a role play for you. It's really open though, with a lot of freedom for your own ideas. However I'll only launch if there is enough interest.
I'll stick to describing first. Role-Play idea - fantasy world, adult content possible I came up with this before and it has the possibility to end in complete chaos. I've experienced that before. So it is helpful to talk some things over before we start. Genre: Adventure, Fantasy World: open - enough room for creation Time Setting: High Fantasy (can be adapted to more modern versions) Theme: Adventure (so far, can be adapted) Adult content, erotica: no - due to forum rules (edited that) No go: creating a civil war. (This caused the breaking once before, sb. just made up a civil war without asking) Prologue - in really short: The world was scattered by an evil dragon, the crust splittered like an egshell. This evil dragon destroyed his own egg in a fit of rage. The good dragons Agmoth and Dirai bund the immortal soul of the baby dragon to the pieces of the world: the soul is inside instead of the core, the pieces of the crust around like the eggshell. Due to magic the pices of the shell move towards and away from another, along the edges you can see a blue light coming from below (magic light of te dragon soul). The pieces of the shell offere various landscapes, locations - basically the world you live in. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As you might see above: this is really open and adaptable. Last time we played some form of adventure that turned bad as a civil war was started because sbd wanted to let rage out (not cooll broke up the entire role play). I created this world with a number of places preset (we can cange them, add new or more) as a form of experimental fantasy writing playground. It offers enough for some great roleplaying. As noted above I'm wiling to open it for adult content if wished for.
That definitely sounds like an interesting setting, I'd definitely like to see what results from the planet essentially taking place of the egg that didn't hatch. What kind of civilizations would evolve on shifting rock? How many landscapes are there? It sounds interesting, but if there is 18+ bedroom action going on, I'm afraid I'll have to pass, I'm not particularly comfortable with that. It is interesting, though.
Bedroom action is not a must. So far I've been doing it without. Civilisations were up for anyone to create. I've been leading this in a small group, so basically anyone could just make up their peace of land (dictate the location) ad the civilisation there. The cultural background etc. The key part was that some of the shell pieces were moving really slowly so that the people would sometimes build bridges between them. Passing the magical gap would be possible by that, or by magic ships. Or raptors can do (yea, i actually added magical talking raptors with all kinds of fancy abilities) So far we've not really had some effects due to the dragon soul but that would have been a part for my fantasy story on ice. Basically letting te dragon soul die due to anything. I've dropped the story as it made me depressive, but I'd love to be a part of this as a role play.
No, nothing ready (burned everything back then) but I've got the weekend and monday off and can prepare the most necessary til then. I'd start with a number of places, peoples (most important facts) and the mission. Your characters would be your thing. I'll keep it rather open as I came to find this is huge developmental thing. It gets boring if everything is preplanned.

I wouldn’t be able to run this campaign, but who here would be interested in a Valyria (ASOIAF) RPG? Lots of dragons, intrigue, magic, dragons, war, and backstabbing. Did I mention dragons? Three factions would exist: the Sphynxes, who are the oldest and most sorcerous dragonlords, the Young Dragons, who are mostly promoted soldiers who have dragons, and the Freeholders, who wield immense wealth but few to no dragons. Although I cannot GM, I’d love to play.
You seem to know the story, why can't you GM? I'll be looking to revive this section in the coming months. Anybody interested in starting an RPG will be available to post the thread, and I will check it for approval. If nobody starts one in the next three months, I will. Also any new RPGs posted here I will join, no matter the genre. So don't be afraid to start one even if you have little experience. At the end of the day, this is a writing exercise for fun. I'll help you or anyone else through. There is also an expansive manual generated here for RPG leading and creating as well. It's great for both new and returning RPGers to reference and learn from. What genres or storylines of an RPG are people interested in right now anyways? I could start working on coming up with one now in case no one is able to get this section reactivated again.
