    Cheers.
Last time I was sideswiped for such a long time was back in late 2017. Picked up a serious bug from my Dawta's family when I went up for the belated wedding ceremony.
I have a strong immune system, built up over the last decade, thus I never get colds or other minor issues, but that bug hit me hard, as has this problem.

I got an hours worth of rain n thunder mp3 that's on my shuffled ambient playlist, often causing me think it's actually raining while writing on me puta. It's nice to listen to this during hot summers, even though I've since installed an air-con in my room.

I used to play my mp3er while mowing to drown out the harsh noise, but found these to be far superior...
...not only do they exceptionally block out noise, but listening to music I had to have it quite loud, which isn't good for the ears either, plus you could still hear the mower.

Ear plugs also for the super loud hand grinder, circular saw, electric planer and now dropsaw (fired that up when I got it home as I bought it at a half way meeting point( no powerpoints) and ffs this thing is loud)

    Mildly productive monday...
    - Yesterday, had to take bed sheets to laundromat, get the bed-ridden stank outa them these last few weeks. Clean sheets feels so nice.
    - Also contemplating mowing this week so tripped to the dump to unload the recycling sitting in the ute tub. In doing so had to dismantled an old table for The Contessa, back felt kinda good. Much better than a few days ago.
    - Was contemplating doing injectors first (as ute is now permanently running sick), but deciding mowing and grass clippings dump run first as another run for the ute is no problem and I have to mow while the weather is dry, was dry yesterday and if dry this morn, will do (attempt) yard.

I got two days to do it as tues and thurs, dump is closed, so I can grasstrim and mow to day and tomorrow and still hit the dump before 5pm wensdee (not good to leave fermenting grass clippings in covered ute tub for more than 24hrs). About 3-4hrs total yard work, but I imagine breaks inbetween. Will have to double mow about 30% of the yard due to long clumps, but most of the yard is low. There's over 60% that always grows considerably quicker than the rest, in the off season I usually only mow part of the yard or the low part is only to mow the dandylions.

    - Grabbed some more wood and other nick nacks while at the dump, and snagged a huge electric planer, to make a jointer, though it could have a stuffed motor ( parts of the case is missing), but you never know as some folks throw away working items just 'cus they enjoy buying new stuff.

We're required to wear ear-defenders anyway, so I have my MP3 earplugs in and defenders over them. I can barely hear the mower.

Oh and I awoke this morn just before midnight. It's now 3am, just finished a decent sized email to my son in law, had a keto coffee, about to have another, offloaded recent build vids to my stick to watch on me tv. Looking for some more, and feeling good about mowing today.

While bed ridden, unable to work on me book due to brain fatigue, decided to replay RDR I, no interest in finishing it; I think it's a badly constructed game and tv mute is my best friend so I don't have to listen to the dumb dialogue from the transition sections when you're travelling with others; I only play it for the hunting element, so currently going about to snag 100 (max amount) of each animal and flower. The most time consuming one will be Ducks, as comparitively they're rarely seen.

Change of plans. Dad doesn't need me.

Writing up an inmate for calling me over the intercom and stating that he was Officer So-and-So and needed backup. Unfortunately, he picked an officer I a) Have known for over a year now and consider a friend so I could tell it wasn't his voice and b) I literally JUST saw walk into his office about 30 seconds before the call came. So, he's now been written up for falsely reporting an emergency and impersonating an officer. Good try, but, you fail.

Wanted to go running. Buuuut some fine gentlemen are outside, having a large street brawl. Lovely. Guess I'll just do the pushups routine.

Afterwards, breakfast. Blueberry pancakes with bacon. Yum.

.....the pancakes are whole wheat, so a knock down on the yum scale. But eh.

I feel you mate. I haven't slept today, or tonight as well, but once again. I'm trying to reboot the goddamn system, but the date and time gets fucked up everytime. Good thing at least, I get to see the sunrise almost... always. I'm starting to enjoy this transition.

Hmm. Been invited upstate for the weekend by my cousin. He brought a new house about seven hours out from NYC. Only problem is...how to get there?

Tolls along the way combined with gas prices make driving a less than desirable option.

Not flying. No. It's not far enough to warrant that, imo.

Bus? Hmm, think it takes longer than seven hours - but that's the cheapest way. But like the next option,

The train, do I really want to risk sitting next to some screaming brat for seven hours? Wonder if they have business carts...

    Eh. Need to research.

I had issues finding a job in Sweden... this is even harder.

It just feels like I'm less experienced here. I know what kind of jobs I can apply to in Sweden. I don't know what things I could apply to here. I'm a Swede without education. I don't even know if they'd let me do retail with my accent. Working over the phone would be no-way. I've talked to people who work over the phone in the UK. They sound like an offended butler from the 1800's! What else? There's barley any factories around here (they do got my old job just a short train ride away... so that is a valid option). I just don't know what these people want and if I'll ever be able to live up to it.

I'd be inclined to start with employment agencies... they generally have lots of jobs available even for 'unskilled' work because they are short term and therefore not of interest to many people... its probably better to go with the local ones rather than the big nationals like manpower

This will also let you build up your experience in the UK and because its short term agency work they won't be worried about the possible complications with hiring an EU national

Look for someplace "artisanal." Doesn't matter what they sell, the accent will be an asset to convincing the idiot hipsters that the product is somehow special.

There is this clothe store named "Copenhagen"-something. I might be able to pass for a Dane if I eat enough mashed potatoes at work!
