Not something i`m partaking in myself (this year, maybe next time) but thought it might be something some others here might be interested in. The novelists get NaNoWriMo it`s only fair...even if the name makes me think of an octopus. http://www.octpowrimo.com/

Writing 31 poems over 31 days....yes I`m aware I`m late. Could be a fun creative exscersie for the poets. They give you prompts but it`s optional, you can write about anything. Even if you aren`t a poet or can`t partake this year, just reading the poems is enjoyable enough.

Actually, considering I did write a poem yesterday so I won't be behind, I think I would like to do this.

Wow, I wish I had seen this earlier. Looks like a real treat, something I'd definitely do.
    Thank you for sharing.

Sounds like fun, but I am not sure I can handle 31 poems in 31 days.
Think I may participate in Inktober this year and stretch my artistic
    muscles. :)
(Reminds me that I should draw a bit more often.) :p
