I think Autocorrect‘s alternative sounds actually quite charming. If it‘d be less stressful, I don‘t know;).

Sous vide steaks, six cheese mac&cheese and steak fries, of course. It takes forever, but it comes out real nice.

I think we need a ruling from Homer on this. I agree; red sauce- red wine, but lets have someone closer to an expert weight in.

Is this a case of another silent 'T" in a word? :supercheeky:

Did this come up here or in my FB feed?

    Or both.

Anyway, quoting a meme, the word "queue" is just the letter "q" followed by a line of silent letters waiting their turn.

Whenever I've been drunk enough for a donner kebab, just about anything alcoholic will go with it.

No, this is a case of I left my phone plugged in overnight and Apple upgraded it on me. Now the auto correct and predictive text features are turned back on and I don’t remember how I turned them off before.

Donner kebabs are a special meat you can only get from certain parties.

On the road today and almost everything was closed so I took everyone's advice and ended up eating a bag of Dick's.

    A duck.

I'm thinking these might be the best roast potatoes ever. Vegetables from a tin, and some kind of gravy?

Singapore rice noodles with chicken and vegetables, but I let someone else cook it. We have so many great Asian restaurants nearby, there was no reason to cook that at home...or cook anything at home, for that matter, given the temperature was in the mid 90's today.

Even though I’m not entirely sure what sauerkraut is, I’ve always wanted to try it. We can get the Bratwurst sausages over here, in places like Lidl/Aldi, but I’ve never seen sauerkraut.

I am going to make a Romanian cabbage stew today which is a kind of cooked sauerkraut - basically white cabbage cooked long and slow with a little bit of fatty pork, a couple of bay-leaves and a bit of tomato puree - also very good with a poached egg on top!!

@OurJud - I think most UK supermarkets sell sauerkraut - usually in a jar - Sainsbury's and Tesco certainly do - it is just white cabbage shredded and pickled with salt.

You do realize that it takes roughly the same amount of time to drive from London to Brussels as it does for me to drive from my place to Toronto. You could literally try "the" authentic stuff with the same amount of effort it takes for me to find a kosher shop.
