That should be enough though we would need someone willing and able to act as DM and lead the game. I linked this before but
https://roll20.net/ is a good client for this with some nice resources. Hopefully we can set something up soon, in January or such. Given the holiday, and the time set up might take.

    Need a DM first though.

OT: Just waiting to get the holidays over with at this point. Only the tenth? Oh come on now.

I am about to either read or write for the rest of the night. I could have done laundry today, but I have no desire to add to the pile of folding.

Is this what adulthood is? Constantly deciding between what laundry to do or not do? Oh my gosh, I'm just gonna go lie down.

I take a miserable saturday morning every other weekend to take on my most hated laundry. I'm angry the entire time with it as well...I really hate sweating for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

I'm doing homework. Which is reading Coleridge, which isn't terrible, but is dense.

Eating turkey-dumplings after visiting with my termites. Mostly nursing my leg and my pride. Got on the too-short ladder to get wood off the roof, knowing it was the wrong way to use it. "don't worry, it's just for a moment" says myself. "don't you dare!" says me. "would you two shut the hell up! I'm trying to keep balance!" says I, just as the board slides a little too easy. Comedy ensues as I grasp at the roof, nope, the next board, nope, the first board again, nope. Even I was laughing as I thought of the cartoon-like irony. I bail off the ladder for the deck a few feet away, and land a perfect tuck-and-roll. My ass reminds me that I'm a bit past the age of stunts like this. My knee didn't scold until I sat down to eat.
I got two perfect cuts outta that damn board! 56-year-old idiot: 2. Board: 1.
    Heh heh.

I'm laying in bed, completely hidden by the blankets, trying not to cry because of stuff, and also trying to think of fluff related prompts.

    Good job!

Last time I had something like that happen, I dislocated my femur on one leg, and shattered the patella of the other. Glad you're alright.

They should have. Now I'm under thirty with arthritis in both joints. One of my main reasons for leaving the military. I can no longer run long distances. Makes me quite sad, since I was marathon runner at the time of that accident.

    - Woke up at 10pm.
    - Hittin' Lonnie in 8hrs.
    - Did the mower and treadlee yesterday. The wind finally died down and the result was a rather dry and hot day (2 days ago), but noticed either smoke or storm brewing thin and misty clouds in the afternoon. I concluded storms abrewing after the week of cool weather wind. And sure enough, we didn't get rain here, but the whole sky remained dark grey for two days, as if blanketed by one cloud. So I held off the work on day one, expecting the rain to start pouring. It didn't and remained fully overcast the next day without shedding a drop.

    - Didn't do the sparkplugs due to recalling a strange slipping sensation with one of them when installing, and I wondered if I overtightened it, thus could it snap off when undoing to reset gap.
    - Reasoned caution was the better way to go, for if I do snap it off, I can't fulfill my obligation and gather me stock today.
    - If there's any snapping in my future, better it's only a 15min run to the village for repairs with no tasks on the horizon.
    - Checking ebay for wheel spanner prices: will buy from helpful shop if only a few bucks more. Only avoid shop purchases if irrationally overpriced...and learnt that eBay is not immune to being more expensive. And I avoid online purchases for expensive items where I purchase extra warranty.
    - Won't buy any treadlee bearings until I chat with bike shop about bearing maintenance and upgrade options.

    Junebug lives ! ˜happy for her˜
1:30 am: noticed a doughy blowfly on the screendoor.
They come in droves when The Contessa cooks her sick smelling old european concoctions.
They come in, buzz around, realize their mistake and forever struggle to find an exit, thus congregate on the screen doors.
I let all of them out yesterday, but alas, either I missed one or it came in later and remained trapped through the night.

So I grab me car keys, snag the fly in the feeding container and head out into the night to see if Junebug has actually died. Contemplating as I walked that spiders might also be night creatures, thus a better time to check.

I throw the fly onto her web.
It quickly got away but buzzed around on one cylinder so was easy to recatch.
    I throw it on again.
    Again, it got away.
Hmm, web not so sticky. Maybe Junebug is dead.
I throw for the third time. Stuck better this time.
    Junebug emerges. ˜heart warms up˜

But again the fly manages to detach, but this time stands on the carpeted dashboard millimeters under the webbing, and too far back to fly out of the huge opening facing the steering wheel.
Junebug, now quite energetic, also hopped down to the dashboard as the fly detached. She turns around a few times, seemingly unable to see the fly only an inch or two from her.
I suspect this species had short eyesight; perhaps all web spiders have weaker eyesight than ground spiders, as I've seen ground ones see prey from several inches away.
She alighted back onto her web to get a sense of the fly's location.

    Junebug waited.
The fly knew the shit he was in and seeing Junebug so close, chose to remain perfectly still.
I watched for a while to see if Junebug could figure it out.
She didn't, so I grabbed my pen and slightly poked the fly through the webbing, careful not to disturb the webbing too much as that freaks Junebug out and she runs back to her sleeping quarters for safety.

The fly moved a bit, but not enough for Junebug to detect.
I poke a few more times till the fly once again is caught in the webbing.
But in it's dislodging effort, ends up on the outer face of the webbing.
Junebug attacks but didn't expect this, and then had to force her way through her webbing from the underside, and by this time, the fly once again had detached, but had now placed itself in a worse position, tightly between webbing and windscreen right against the pillar.

Junebug chose to return to the underside of her webbing, and only then realized as she raced to the fly's new position, that it remained on the outside.
She once again went to burrow through her webbing to the outside, but for reasons I don't know, she stopped and just sat there on the underside, a very short distance from the fly.

I watched for a while as I no longer had access to the fly.
Junebug remained still, so I left her at it. She'll either get her prey or she wont.
Main thing is she's still alive.

Yep, that'll never make it to my playlist for three reasons.
    1. Song name.
    2. Sound quality.
    3. Lyrics.

That has to be on purpose right? Just picked all the wrong settings on there synthesizer and fucked around. I have a synth and IDEK if I could match this without trying to be horrible.

Sitting here watching youtube. Went to work came home, made a burger, been watching youtube since really. Should get up soon and feed the animals. Off for the next two days feels nice, just relaxing and unwinding for tonight. Hoping to stay up long enough to see if there`s any sign of the last full moon.

Just trying to last past through the holidays, hopefully, I can use these next few days to work on stuff around the house.

I sure hope so, cause they are a real thing in Australia and have several albums.
I think it is a splinter of the 'Core' suffixed genre: Shit-Core.
With a sub-genre like that, it definitely delivers whats on the tin. :p

Pretty sure the point of it is to be horrible and off-putting. Kinda like
the strange counter culture movement that makes a mockery of music
by tacking that 'label' onto any random noise (may or may not have
rhythm or notes per-se), and producing it en-masse to troll the world
with their auditory garbage. They are the Jackson Pauliks of music if
you will, though they lack any substance that abstract art can have
    on the observer.

Hunter, who spends the bulk of her nights hunting all over the place, gets my attention by climbing across the roof to my rear A\Ced window, and meows a few times to see if I'll get up and let her in after she's done for the night and wants to hang out in me room for some cuddling and sleep; or she walks to the back window and clambers up onto the A\C, which makes enough clanging noise to awaken me.

Last winter, by torchlight, I'd begun going on short nature walks with her in the wee hours of the morning. She enjoyed this, often playfully frolicking among the clumpy tall and thin riverweed type plants strew throughout the paddock, or climb trees along the short route we'd take. She'd explore the various low lying branches, I think because she's proud of her ability and wants to show me what she's capable of. Of course, I compliment her, and thus she'll hang her head down in order for me to pat her. Then she'll hop down and we'd walk further.

As you may know, I've been bedridden for several weeks, thus I've remained in hibernation mode in me room, only venturing outside to snag some groceries and postoffice mail from time to time, thus our nature walks were also put on hold.

During this time, Hunter would still awaken me in the early mornings, but after a few weeks, instead of coming into me room to hang out for hours, she'd come in, have a quick cuddle, rest a bit on me bed, then leave and meow if I didn't instantly follow. Whenever I did go see what she wanted, she'd often go to the back door to be let out again.

It would be easy to quickly judge this cat as being stupid, for why ask to be let in, only to ask to be let out a minute later.

I came across this quote recently, either from one of my own adventures or it was posted by a member here.

“When I hear somebody talk about a horse or cow being stupid; I figure it's a sure sign that the animal has somehow outfoxed them” - Tom Dorrance

Hunter, wasn't being an idiot by doing the quick entry-exit shuffle, she was showing she missed our walks. Yesterday morn, upon getting my attention by clambering onto the A\C, this time when I opened the read door, she never even came in. She stood outside looking out upon the route we used to take.

I said, "Hang on I'll just get me hoodie and thongs and we'll go for a walk."
And off we went. Blimey, was she so happy. She did all the things mentioned but with far more joyful enthusiasm, often reaching the point of such excitement she'd growl at me, biting my fingers and jump attacking my legs from behind the clumpy plants, then run away up a tree as if to say , "Chase me, chase me!"

That morning, with Hunter, and the Lonnie run was the most energetic and enjoyable day I've had for far too long. It seems I've only just gotten back to a decent state of wellness.

The Lonnie run was a good day.
    - Got all my stuff done at an efficient rate.
    - Had two freshly bbq'd suasages n onions for breakie at Bunnings, locals making money for some children's sports team. My usual KFC for lunch.
    - The new mower shop, a single guy predominently focused on mechanical work and not new sales is going to be my home base for all my mower and trimmer needs.
    - No need to buy bearings for treadlee; just have to regrease and adjust.
Buying spanners from eBay china as the technology on my bike is a number of versions before current designs; shops don't stock tools for older tech, even though the tech on my bike is still being used on some of the new lower end bikes in his shop; go figure.
    - Also snagged a pair of G clamps from Bunnings to compress brake caliper pots when I do brake pad replacements.
    - Ute is now extremely quieter. My initial assessment is too quiet, but later on I considered it as a more elegant sound, so now I'm happy with the outcome. The single wide chrome end looks better than the twin cheap looking end I used to run.
    - Got a stack of dried fruit for $60
_ snagged some more moroccan spice combo for me stews, and a kilo of LSA for me upcoming smoothies.

    - Was approached by a young self proclaimed monk, holding some Bhagavad Gitas.
We chatted for a bit, as I know nothing about this religion or spiritual philosophy if it's not a dogmatic belief system.
Flipped through the book, but either the creator of the original text or the new versions don't seem to be overly fond of paragraphing, and I found far too many statements about god and devotion to it or a lord.

He became frustratingly upset with me because I didn't share his enthusiam for the philosophy, and he especially didn't like it when I stated it seems to be the same as the christian's bible to me; we parted on bad terms. I was at peace, he wasn't.

This I found quite ironic, as in our initial encounter I joyfully shared one of my fav Bhagavad Gita quotes with him...

"The self-controled soul, who moves amongst sense objects, free from either attachment or repulsion, he wins eternal peace." - Bhagavad Gita

...yet it seems to me he had yet to incorporate this into his being.
I'm actually heading back into Lonnie today, solely to see if I can find him and compassionately point this out to him, for it seems he was not at peace because I wasn't interested in that which he was deeply attached to.

Sitting in the breakroom at work, about to write. I tend to write or read during my lunch breaks. I went from getting a half hour to an hour and now I'm never sure what to do with my time.

Wondering why it got so cold all of the sudden and watching Kermit the Frog give a TED talk. Ended up crashing around ten instead of being up for the moon. Day off today so slept until nine and spent the day clearing out my room and organizing it finally. Trying to get my shit together going into 2020. Bedrooms all spruced up now to do the rest of the house. Got a few more days to work on stuff like that then the week after Christmas.

This is such a good Ted talk.

Excitedly about to get my favorite sushi in town. This revolving sushi bar, and the manner in which they are prepared, served, and collected, remind me much more of Japan than any other one here. Can't wait to go back there really, and on a vacation, instead of working long days.

Waiting for my roomie to get out of the shower so we can go to Outback and eat something. Actually, we'll grab something to go, I think. I don't like sitting around in restaurants - too many people and nothing to do but listen to my roomie tell the same stories over and over again. I'd rather come back home and write my dumb superhero story. I have to figure out how to get him to join the Avengers or something (yes, I'm borrowing Marvel's universe 'cause this story is just a throwaway and I don't want to burn brainfuel thinking up my own).

I know! Maybe I'll just have Captain America phone him out of the blue and say, "Wanna join the Avengers? I'm lonely." Yeah, that'll work...

This would make me give a shit about the Marvel universe. I can't stand superhero movies, but that's for another time. I would enjoy the hell out of one of them being more human than hero any day. I loved Thor in Endgame, and if you've seen it, you'll know why.
