Yeah. I never spoke to him much, but he seemed like a cool guy.

Also, @Some Guy, have you seen the prices on vintage fashion? £60 for a '50s-style dress!

That is true. But there isn't a lot of '50s stuff there, and honestly, that's where my heart is.

My brother has traveled the world, including the UK. Wherever he goes, he stops in at local 2nd hand stores. He always comes home with original label vintage apparel. Usually, they are unworn. They vary from 20s to 80s, though he did find coveralls from 1910. It's mostly era fashion, and he knows what to look for. He does it on-the-hoof, not on the internet. They're usually small volunteer shops, consigners, estate-overflow, really just what he sniffs out in town.

The store brand fruit-on-the-bottom yogurt I buy (mostly because it's cheap) has way too much fruit in it.

Why do chips (fries) taste so awful after they cool?
I don't want to waste food, but I also don't want to eat something that has the texture of toilet paper. :blech:

Fried potatoes don't reheat well either, they come out like cardboard.

Trick to reheating potatoes, or anything fried really, is to use actually radiant heat like a grill or a toaster-oven, not a microwave.

Look, there's no point doing breakfast if the earliest* you can get it to me is half past twelve.

*And it's not because I ordered late - they opened deliveries three minutes ago.

Stuck in a catch 22 with a new game. I can't get anymore coins without winning this level, but I can't win it without coins to get a few more moves. So I guess I'm stuck at level 28 forever then.

My FWW: My room (and house at large) is currently looking like the sight of a hurricane and trash twister but my motivation is yoyoing to much to effectively clean it. It`s not even a lack of it it`s a nonsteady stream of it. Or I`ll pick up and then have it look exactly the same the next day.

Also, my feather dusters keep breaking at work. As FWW as it gets but dam it`s annoying. Almost as annoying as hockey players, almost. Don`t get any eye candy from a broken feather duster.

We had a hockey player the other day standing in the hall in his underwear pounding on a door...no idea what was going on....but....

I've been having a Fallout itch for a while now, but I have no console. Then I recalled Fallout Shelter, and looked it up. I can get it for my dino-top through microsoft, but then it went in circles about verifying my account. Apparently it takes upto a month to change my mobile number?! WTF?
It's a free to download and free to play game, so why they need to verify me in the first place, goodness only knows. In the meantime, I'm pissed off because I still can't play any version of Fallout! :supermad:

As Microsoft was being ridiculous, I searched for other options. I downloaded Steam, thinking that would work. Set up an account, went to download...not compatible with the game! Turns out I have 0.3GHZ too few to run Fallout Shelter.

Fallout 4 is one of my favourite games, but shelter never scratched the itch for me. You can pick up used PS4s relatively cheap now, especially with the PS5 round the corner. And Fallout 4 sells for about £4.00 in these exchange shops.

That may the problem, as daft as that might sound.

You might want to get yourself checked for diabetes too if this tiredness is a regular thing.

Maybe putting some fancy lights and some flame decals on it will make it go faster.
