I'm about to listen to a shit ton of music and probably write for a bit. It was a weird day at work (stood up to the douchebag who's been super condescending to me lately), and now I'm probably gonna put all that angst into my main character.

Eh, it's what edits are for.

 

Apart of me misses the schoolyard days. Guy's acting like captain douche pants? Bloody his nose, he'll shape up fast. Hell, I made some of my coolest friends that way. Fun times.

Good on you though.

OT: Coffee. Gonna finish writing the short I started yesterday and later...dunno yet.

 

Fighting the urge to fall asleep.

 

Brother-in-law is coming to visit us. Asked me if I had something strong enough to put an elephant out - a hard no, so he's bringing Mr Jack Daniels....

It'll be fun to shoot the shit with him. Have to get a blanket for the sofa. Can't let a drunk guy drive home.

 

No one invited Captain Morgan? He`ll have you walking the plank for that.

Wrapping up my obligatory post-work youtube binge. Today was a pretty good day, all things considered, nice start to the month. Few things I want to focus on this month health, routine, art, and etc. Today wasn`t great in all those respects but it wasn`t bad for them either. Probably gonna do a junk draw post tonight rambling on about that.

Was gonna go to a sale at the local comic shop today. I love supporting small business and I know the owner from the local art scene plus others that work there from around. Been sharing all there posts about it through my social media helping them hype it up. Ended up skipping it though...checked my bank account this morning....a tumbleweed blew past me. Gonna need to clear out my savings this month to get the back taxes monkey off our backs. Need to pay more attention to finances, just made full time and the busy season will be here sooner than later. Plus the yearly raise. Just need to shore up the leaks so some of that money saves.

 

Trying to root an old burner phone in preparation for my trip back home next this (?!?!) week. I got one of those cheapies that's so full of bloat that the first thing it does is tells you that it's almost out of memory. I'd rather pay for a one-month burner plan and know how much I've spent upfront than trust myself to the tender mercies of KDDI's international roaming fees.

 

Regretting being told that the backstory is the only thing up to me with this lvl 1o paladin. Got started, can't stop, this chick's backstory could be a campaign all it's own at this point, and I'm not even done yet.

I saw my brother and his family earlier today, not expecting to, so it was a good time. My niece likes to walk really fast now, back and forth between rooms and loves it when she knows someone's following her. She's good at falling down, too, but that's because she's only 13 months old. I love her fully.

Also played D&D for six hours earlier, which was awesome because my friends donated some of their dice sets to me since I only had the one and it is a thing that certain times your d20 doesn't want to roll higher than a 7. Fair enough. But now I have four sets of dice. I feel rich beyond measure.

Now I'm going to pass the eff out because I've done enough for today. Goodnight, friends.

 

Headache-ing. Every time my Brother-in-law an I hangout, I end up drunk. Woke up on the sofa and found him asleep in our bathtub....

Gonna make breakfast for the wife then drag her brother to the local cafe for some liquid life, aka coffee.

Ugh, haven't woken up like this in years. Uni Saturday's are coming back to me.

Water water water. Drink a lot of water while you're drinking other stuff. You'll still get pleasantly pished, but you won't wake up with a hangover. It's dehydration that gives you the headache. Little trick I wish I'd learned back at Uni. Just glug a glass of water several times during the drinking bout, and you'll be fine! By the time you wake up with the headache and start drinking water, it's too late.

What is it with the fascination I have for picking the bits of my tattoo that are healing? The really stuck on ones I've left alone, because that causes scarring, and I'm not about to do that, but if it's just little bits of new skin pushing the old dead stuff up, I'm all "How big of a piece can I get?!"

It's disgusting and I literally have no reason for it other than I must.
