On me! *Alpha -moeba deforms and surrounds Truman like a water bubble, then scintillates as it forms to his body perfectly* Arena! *energy dome forms a flat circular area, perfect for battle or other entertainment* Let's play!! *raises his hands and Alpha-suit morphs strange undulating wings. He takes to the air as naturally as a bird and hovers while the wings change from geometric to parachute to squid jets to streamers. Each catches air differently and changes his flying style from plane to avian to jellyfish to hummingbird to butterfly* Alpha transforms energy to manipulate anything in your environment! *hood forms over his head and morphs into translucent dragon jaws. The back of the hood swells as air is sucked in and glows red as it superheats instantly. The jaws spark and ignite the air into ion-plasma that blasts into the ground, charring it. The safety-dome scintillates as it absorbs excess energy.* On my world, technology finally took the clue from nature and danced with energy instead of forcing it to singular tasks. Magic always finds a way to exist, perhaps? *climbs into the 'sky' and swoops close to the ground, churning the air until arcs form. Claws morph and clamp him to the ground and he extends his hands as the arcs coalesce into lightning that chars a strip of ground. Alpha-suit scintillates as it conforms snugly to Truman* Seeker: *calls out* Truman! This wasn't acceptable behavior in our world! Truman: Our world doesn't exist for us anymore, does it? *jumps into the 'sky'* Woohoo! Let's play!! Seeker: *mutters ironically* Well, he has a point. I did tell him he had to learn to have fun. He'll be impossible after this. *waves* Truman: Woohoo!!
Ouryuu: Interesting guy... But I’m not here to make friends. *jumps down* I’m here to remind you that the Void is coming. And make no mistake, all of your domains will be mine. *Huanglong jumps down.* Huanglong: Yes, all of Sekai will be yours. *cups Ouryuu’s face* And me, too... *They kiss, as the rest stare in shock.* Ouryuu: Let’s go. At our point in the story the war is about to begin, and we have a lot of work to do. *Ouryuu leaves* Huanglong: Pathetic. Humans sure are gullible, aren’t they? Zhuque: I can’t help but wonder... Huanglong, do you even care about him? Huanglong: Perhaps I don’t, perhaps I do. It’s not really decided yet... It is obvious that he has the hots for me, however. And if it helps keeping him sympathetic to our cause, then I guess it’s just one more way I’m putting my ass on the line for the good of demonkind. But we can not linger anymore. Let’s get going. *Huanglong leaves. Zhuque glances at Suzaku over his shoulder, sadness appearing very briefly in his eyes. Then he avert his gaze and leaves* Seiryuu: Guess we better go back home, too. Genbu: Yes. I do not like the turn these events have taken. Byakko: Not to mention we still have to clear up the mess Suzaku’s war caused. Suzaku: Are you going to blame me now?! You were just as excited about the game as I was!! *The four of them leave.*
Niki: Those guys that came after Suzaku a Zhuque weren't very nice at all, but at least they're gone now. Let's lighten the mood a bit, yeah? *Creates a ball of light in her hands, then releases it and it burst into hundreds of butterflies made of light that fly around everyone.* My ability isn't very powerful, but it lets make beautiful things like this.
Huanglong: *peeking his head in* Not nice? Of course, we aren’t nice! We are the antagonists. But don’t expect any of them to return. If I get my way, there won’t even be a Sekai for much longer! *leaves again*
Alvis: God, I hope our antagonists stay out of this. The last thing we need is Agaron showing up. Ellen: Our author hopes to write our story so that if it ever gets a movie adaption it would have to be animated. He does like anime but also thinks western animation needs to realize its own potential and catch up with what the Japanese are putting out. Imagine what you could do with Disney or Pixar-style movie with a serious storyline and, like, actual violence. Alvis: That would be rad.
Adam- Yep, that would be it. The European Union, huh? So all of them kept their own countries instead of forming one big one like ours did. I don't know. Sounds like your world is pretty odd to us, honestly. But then again, you're in the future. And you don't have chimeras, I assume. Nick- Although we don't have that genocide thing, so that seems nice. Even though there's still a war on. Suzumi- Honestly some of your abilities seem like...like magic or something to us.
Isabel: Well, that’s because they are magic. And no, we don’t have chimeras. (Beat) Do we? Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised at this point. I stopped being surprised at things when a nymph opened a portal between realms in a 7/11. Alyssa: I don’t think we have chimeras, but anything’s possible, really. I mean, we’ve seen weirder.
Archie: It seems that our writer is a fan of Kamen Rider. To be honest, I actually like it. Megumi: A TV show about a superhero riding a motorcycle and shouting ridiculous attack names? I hate that show! Archie: Come on, it's not like you are going to hate it if you're planning on giving it a watch. You might like it. Megumi: Nope! Never! Archie: Ugh, good grief... Haruka: Are you sure this place is safe? Fuu: Well, I’m certain this place is much safer for you than the battlefield. Haruka: Can’t argue with that. Oh, hello, everyone. *bows* My name is Mamoru Haruka. Or, I guess you would say it Haruka Mamoru… To be honest; I have no idea at all what is going on. One day I just wake up and find myself in this magical world. Unfortunately, the people living there is to busy to help me find a way back home to Earth. So for the time being, I’m stuck. Fuu: I’m Fuu. I joined Lord Suzaku’s guard just a year ago, and I got tasked with keeping this guy safe because he has no magic. Haruka: You actually volunteered. Looking for some brownie points, are we? Fuu: Brownie points? I swear, the things you say really confuse me sometimes. Haruka: Let me put it this way then. You are hoping to impress your superiors. Fuu: Can’t say that I’m not… Why? Is there something wrong with that? Haruka: I suppose not. And you’re cute, so I forgive you.
Megumi: Archie, how many superpowers do you have? Archie: Well, a lot. Energy manipulation/chi manipulation, telepathy, mediumship (only appeared once in the pilot version of the book), and flight. Megumi: Are you saying that you can read other's mind including mine? How cruel of you! Archie: But that is not the point... Megumi: Well, I don't want to hear it! Archie: Oh boy...
Haruka: Yeah, that was alot of powers. Where you born with them or did you get them somehow? *sighs* Wish I had gotten something... Fuu: I personally think it's better that you didn't. In Sekai everybody has magic, so being the only one who hasn't make you more interesting. Unique even. Haruka: *smiling* I never thought about it that way. Thanks.
Archie: If they have a heart of gold then they can possess pure chi or if they are downright immoral then they cannot possess pure chi but can instead possess dark chi.
Alvis: I know that feel, bro. Ellen: That's my line. Valyan: I, um, know that feel, bro? *turns to Alvis* Did I do that right? *Alvis gives him a thumbs up* Valyan: Do we have people who can do that in our world? Sram: Technically yes, though it doesn't really work on most of us. Valyan: Why is that? Sram: I have been trained to resist mind spells, and your armor provides a passive defense against them. Valyan: Huh. I actually didn't know that. Sram: As for Alvis and Raxa, well, trying to invade the mind of a Divine Aspect is ill-advised since it's two-way connection. Raxa: Basically, if anyone pokes around inside my head without my permission, I can pretty much make them think their mind is literally on fire. Alvis can probably do something similar, or even overload their nervous system directly. Alvis: Honestly, I'm pretty sure the mysterious, wildly powerful entity living inside my head would probably take care of that for me. She's a bit territorial. Ellen: Wait... Are you saying I'm the only one here with no defense against telepathy? Sram: Well, I don't know about Susirane and the other one, obviously. Raxa: The author really should put some more work into those two. Like, get them presentable, at least. *Sram looks thoughtful for a moment, then sinks into a shadow and vanishes* Valyan: Where's she going? Raxa: Dunno, ladies room?
Krishan: Long time no see, Archie. Archie: Krishan!? What are you doing here? Megumi: *sighs* Here we go again... Krishan: I came here to see what this place is about and I saw you and Megumi chatting so I thought that I stop by. Archie: Not on my watch! We can have a battle right here, right now! Krishan: Are you stupid? We can't fight in public! We can only do it in private! Archie: You're right. What have I been thinking? But I want to see how strong you have become! Krishan: Now you are making me want to fight you! You're making me mad! Archie: If you are mad then bring it on! Let's see who have become stronger this time! *Megumi's face was turning red* Megumi: ENOUGH! Archie: My ears... Krishan: I think I have gone deaf... Megumi: When will you two get along? Krishan: She is right. Perhaps, it is best not to cause trouble here. Archie: Well, if that is the case then I will do what Megumi says. But that doesn't mean that we won't back down! Krishan: Oh yeah? Then you can prove it to me by showing me your true power! Haruka: So, when you said Suzaku and his brothers don’t get along, did you mean something like that? Fuu: *sigh* Exactly like that... Makes me glad to be on a special assignment, actually... Haruka: *blushing slightly* You think I’m special?
Fuu: Seems like the ideas for things to discuss has sort of dried out a little... Haruka: Yeah... *thinks for a moment* I know! How about we play a game? Fuu: A game? Really? If you haven’t noticed none of us here are kids. Haruka: Well, this game can be fun for adults too. It’s a game called Truth or Dare. Fuu: I might regret this, but... Okay, how do you play? Haruka: So everyone else here who doesn’t know can pay attention too. It is a simple game, actually. One person, me for example, ask another person, let’s say you, truth or dare. Now, if you pick truth I’ll ask you a question and... Fuu: Let me guess, I have to tell the truth? Haruka: Precisely. Now if you pick dare I get to tell you to do something and you have to do it. You can decide beforehand if certain things are off limits, or have a punishment for those who want to pass on a question or a task. Here you can actually make a drinking game out of it, but then the quality of the questions and tasks have a tendency to drop. Fuu: Okay, I guess I could agree to this. But what about everyone else? What if they aren’t interested? Haruka: Well, let’s ask then. Is anyone up for it?
