Downloaded this the other day. I don't hold with all the 'Masterpiece' accolades it received. In fact I'm finding it rather dull and repetitive. Does have a certain charm, although I'm not sure what that is.
I am SO GLAD I bought a PS4 last year. It's been working overtime during this quarantine. I just beat Uncharted 4 the other day and that game was incredible. I just started Bioshock: Infinite which is fantastic so far. It's my first Bioshock game. And I'm always slowly plugging away at Red Dead Redemption 2 here and there. Another gorgeous gorgeous game. FIFA and Madden here and there of course too.
It seems that I'm going to have a lot of time on my hands going forward, so I've bought Bloodborne (with DLC) and God of War. Don't look at me like that, they were on sale. Currently having a blast with Horizon Zero Dawn. It's not High Art, but it's fun.
Bloodborne is one of my favorite games, and I haven't even played it, so... Why not? Why shouldn't I?
Quarantine is perfect time to fill up the extra time with some hyper-reflexive and challenging combat.
Sure is. And it also serves as a sobering reminder that no matter how bad things get, it'll probably be better than whatever is going on in Yharnam.
The Mad Max game from 2015 was on sale on Steam, so I got it for a couple of bucks, and I'm enjoying it a surprising amount so far.
Anyone played Shadow of the Colossus on PS4? I thought I'd seen it on offer on the PS Store but when I checked the website just now it's full price. I'll have to check it on my PS4 see if it's on their deals page.
yeh. some levels, there was no way to anticipate what’s coming next and you have to restart it like about 1000 times again. Those ice levels were terrible. hehe.
I'm playing Magic Arena. I'm not very good. I just try to earn gold to buy more packs. I can't quit playing Noita.
I was lucky to preorder the deluxe edition of Final Fantasy VII Remake before scalpers got a hold of them all. I'm really enjoying the game so far!
Went back to Greedfall after a break, still enjoy it. Been absorbing most of my time the last two days. Should be nearing the end of the story here soon, kinda zipping all over the map half finishing things and making a mess of things. Not much roleplay option but its still pretty gripping, in an oddly paced kinda way. Was gonna play Skyrim one night till I saw it was uninstalled and did this instead of both downloading. Will probably finish Greedfall, uninstall, then do Skyrim. May go back to Greedfall right after this...despite my better judgment.
I remember we had this for the Sega CD, but I wasn't allowed to play it. I vaguely recall walking into some kind of semi-sexy situation on screen and being immediately shooed from the room.
It kind of slipped under the radar at the time, as I think it was surrounded by some bigger names on its release, but it was definitely a solid buy. Got it a few years ago on sale and wasn't disappointed.
That looks extremely fun and difficult. I might pick that up as a random in-between things time killer. I like the art style and set-up.
Anyone been trying Mount & Blade II Bannerlord? It's great fun! Early Access, but still playable for most. I have fond memories from the first, Warband. You basically start off as a nobody and work your way up in the world, recruiting your own band of medieval soldiers. You can besiege castles, marry nobles' daughters', betray kingdoms, execute lords, and most importantly, play board games!
Been waiting for it for years now! Saw the announcement when they first went into early access, but I'll have to wait a little longer still as I don't have the money to buy it at the moment.
I really wish I could play that, but for the moment I don't have a computer that's up to the task. I've been gaming far more than usual lately. I finished God of War, which was great, and now I'm playing Final Fantasy VII Remake, which is also great. I'm not a huge Final Fantasy fan, but this works for me. VII has an x-factor that I haven't found in any of the other ones, and the remake is absolutely gorgeous.
