@The Dapper Hooligan Did you keep some of the old batteries, and do you have a voltmeter? I've been saving a ton of money on batteries because I test them before recycling. Turns out most equipment only drains one of the batteries in series. So i toss that one and keep the others.
Equipment gets inaccurate when batteries get under a certain voltage, so I have to swap them out regardless of whether they're "good" or not. I just put the old ones in my Walkman or remote controls or whatever.
Well, yes, but you just look at the battery for tolerance levels on measured voltage. Equipment usually drains one while leaving the other at standard voltage. And yes, the equipment can use lower voltages down to a cut off. Even with amplification circuits.
1.35v per cell. It was originally designed to use mercury cells which had a very constant voltage throughout it's life, but they're getting hard to find.
Makes sense as mercury sucks. I'm surprised that 1.35 V is the cut-off. Seems awfully close to the 1.5 V average, meaning that in an average 9 volt battery, readings below 6 V are apparently inaccurate?
Anything that is necessary to maintain proper health is essential in my book. Some people think their Venti Iced Lattes are essential.
Readings outside of the 1.35v on the board make it inaccurate, but anything over that amount gets shunted, so its never a problem, but it's hard to get more volts after the cell starts to get weak.
You need to take your KitKats. Don't eat the KIT KATS. poison poison poison if the voices sound real it is because they are Where is cat? Have you looked in the fridge?
Well I broke down and got the latest version of KSP. Figured since I (like all of you) am gonna be stuck indoors for a good long while, better have some outlet to being an 'explorer' of sorts.
I got Black Mesa, which is a fan-made graphical (but not story) reboot of the first Half Life. Pretty cool.
I am staring into space. Should be typing, but alas. I am uncomfortable. My chest is doing something funky.
So is mine actually, right around the sternum area. It's like it's locking up for whatever reason and fucking hurts when I turn. Also the heartburn doesn't help, but I drank a Pepsi, so I deserve it.
