It reminds me of a creature from Pans Labyrinth. I honestly thought your picture was from a del toro movie i missed!
Did someone say clockwork? My original avatar was the classic Snoopy on a typewriter drawing. I had returned to this forum after not being active for a while and discovered a new member was using the exact same avatar (identity theft is not a joke, people) so I decided to change. I went with a clock. Time is a fascinating concept to me and seemed to make some amount of sense with my username. I recently changed the clock to a more badass one that seemed to make even more sense with my username. So yeah...
Even more so when defined through spacetime. Even more so when spacetime curves around wells of gravity. Even more so when those wells of gravity produce escape speeds that exceed the speed of light and make time not a thing anymore. Or does it make time the only thing? I'm a little rusty on my relativity.
I was originally looking for early 20th-century line art of the guy with the hat featured on everything from door-signs to billboards. The Everyman. This one fit my emotion at the time. It is also a convenient non-verbal response to posts.
It's a marmot that I found on Google. I never look at profile pics except out of the corner of my eye, so I thought yours was a random red blotch. I guess it's actually a beautiful water bird, haha.
It is a flamingo, good sir. A nefarious, devious, dastardly little bird ready to strike viciously at anyone fool enough to go near it. An evil flamingo, perchance. Unless you have food.
Mine's some fanart of Sansa I made to be my profile pic on a Game of Thrones forum site. I had wanted to make a unique profile pic for this site, but never got inspired. So I figured I'd gone pic-less long enough and just brought this one back out. While not great by any stretch, it is the current pinnacle of my artistic capability. And is still connected to writing in some sense, being my favorite character from my favorite book series.
My profile picture, as all of you should be able to see, is of me doing a back-flip between a waterfall and a rainbow.
I'm a weeb. Currently it's Senjougahara because I've been watching the Monogatari anime series. It's from one of my favorite episodes in Bakemonogatari, in one of my favorite scenes. The original color is not black-and-white, but I like the noir aesthetic. Her body language and expression fits my mood relatively well sometimes, which I suppose is a plus.
