This gets plus for being Aussie, because I feel validated to know my country is capable of producing relevant things:
The videos just great for the quaratimes but so is Lawrence a soul/funk/randb/pop group. Clyde Lawrence was actually the youngest member of the Songwriters Guild after he composed a song for one of his father's films at five, and the group also features his sister Gracie who has also done acting both on Broadway and tv. Pretty impressive group. Gracie vocals are something out of this world.
Just found out about these guys, and they're fucking badass. From Martinsburg, WV, where I'm moving in a couple months (already live not too far away).
Loving the quartine content we`re getting from the music world. Love Larkin Poe. Two sisters so perfectly capturing the energy of good old fashioned roots/folk/blues rock with some pyshdelic elements sprinkled in on occasion. Sounds like Americana and a blast from the past it is ...chefs kiss. This one is simply beautiful, written in honor of there grandparents one with schizophrenia and one who was struggling with dementia at the time they wrote it. This one is just...powerful I should get a shower but this music is so good you can`t pull yourself away
Well that is interesting, I had no idea the kazoo was a sound of war. Granted it may not have been a kazoo, but some sort of wind instrument, it sure sounds like a kazoo. "Sound the kazoos of war!"
