I never edit a post here after someone has liked or quoted it, even to fix a typo.

Mowing my lawn in jeans during some of the most humid days of the summer so far was not my brightest idea, but it's all done now.

    Solid day.

Wearing well ventilated shorts, and no shirt, cause it is at least 90 F or more right now,
since it gets too hot for normal casual wear under most circumstances. :p

Yeah. Not fun. Stripclubs in Providence tried doing outdoor patio lapdances. Didn't work. Lots of Johns that didn't want to be seen. Poor strippers... they're struggling for cash right now. Hard to boink a politician when they can't leave their house.

Being in the food business, I can empathize. Who'd have thought selling tail and booze would ever become difficult?

The second half of this week has been a disaster.

Wednesday - left the house without my keys.
Thursday - forgot to grab my dinner from the fridge.

Strip clubs are also not eligible for coronavirus stimulus money, which is a crock.

I don't know why or how he's real; nor do I care cause the important thing is that he is.

There was an elderly man with a metal detector on the high school campus this morning. That's fine, but I wonder what he was hoping to accomplish. I mean, if he uncovered a pot of gold, that would belong to the Western Dubuque School District instead of him. Wouldn't it?

Earth, three million years from now?

There's a sci-fi comedy series that I'm a huge fan of, called Red Dwarf. For reasons that would take too long to explain it's set in deep space, three million years from Earth, i.e they've been travelling away from Earth for three million years. Anyway one of the characters' main goal is to return to Earth, which always gets me wondering what this place would be like, that far into the future. I don't suppose even the world's top scientists could so much as hazard a guess?

All this is assuming Earth still exists, of course.

I used to love that show, though I could never find more than a few episodes of it for some reason.

Just had a look for the 'Just the shows' box set on both amazon.com and amazon.uk, and for whatever reason it's twice the price on amazon.com... and it's not even the US compatible version either.

I thought I posted here a lot... probably too often if I'm honest with myself. That was until I started looking at the stats of other posters. I've been here more than five years longer than some members, and they have a post count three times that of mine o_O
