    Anyone know this font?

Discussion in 'Revision and Editing' started by MarkWriter, Jul 6, 2020.

I have a font that I am trying to find the name for.
Either that, or find a very similar font.
    Anyone know? Thanks.

Got a 1920s vibe going on.

Though I appreciate the sentiment, it was really just a bit of search savvy. I made the image linked below as the header for my collections page. I recreated the spines of those books from actual books in my collection as faithfully as I could, to include correct fonts, or at least the very closest I could find.

    This site: https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/

... will identify fonts. Just screencap the area of text and plug it in. It has difficulty with light text on dark background, so if that's the case, you may need to invert the colors with something akin to Photoshop or GIMP.

Looks like University Roman Cyrillic but often there are knock offs and similars of many fonts so it would take a full comparison of all the characters to be totally 100% sure.
