    Introduction

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by LukasEmmer, Jul 9, 2020.

Hello, my name is Lukas, I'm 18y old. I've almost finished a first draft of my movie script. Which forum is the best to get any help, advice on my script? Please let me know, thank you!

Hi Lukas! I just sent you a ''welcome' Conversation, but to answer your specific question here.

If you want to ask a general question about script writing, this is the place to post it: https://www.writingforums.org/community/types-of-writing/ Just choose 'scripts' and fire away.

If you want to post your own script for feedback, however, there are a few hoops you must jump through first. They should be explained in the Conversation I sent you, if you read the links ...particularly the New Member Quick Start The ONLY place on the forum you are allowed to post your actual work for feedback is in our Workshop area, and there are some requirements before you are allowed to do that.

So take your time, hang on to your script, get to know us, let us get to know you, and in a couple of weeks you should be good to go.

    Cheers, Jan

I'm writing a crime. And a bit of mystery. It's about 3 cops, all with their own secrets. We learn the secrets throughout the movie, some secrets more surprising than others.
The story is about the missing of two young people, last seen on their first date. But there is no way of tracing them down (phone, camera footage, etc...) All of this leads to stressfull situations
    I hope you'll understand what's it about.
Let me know what you think of the main idea, interesting, unrealistic,...?

I like character-driven plots that delve into secrets, so it definitely sounds like a solid idea at the very least. :)
