Hey all, newbie here. I live in the states, I work an exceedingly boring desk job by day, and I've just come off a six-year writing hiatus so I feel like some of my attempts to make words go pretty together are going to be pretty awful until I shake the cobwebs out. Only most of them though. I write a lot of spec fic, so I have to keep some of them around for atmosphere. The cobwebs are why I'm here. I suspect that I need some help finding them so I can brush them away.

Thanks everyone! Gosh, what a friendly place. Sorry, Room. Didn't mean to be all presumptive. That said, now I'm wondering if a dog with fingers could truly pull off the quadruped lifestyle. The blisters alone would be maddening. What's your secret?
I dont think I qualify as a biped anymore. I'm technically a bipedal quint-wheel?... I dunno, whats the correct term for two legs and five small desk chair wheels? I love nosiness! It's not fanfic though; it's spec fic. Or maybe I'm abbreviating things that don't actually have abbreviations and nobody knows what the eff I'm talking about. So, just in case it's that, I write speculative fiction mainly. Thank you for the welcome sir!
