I don't have any pets right now but my sister has two cats and I love them with my whole heart. This is Mr. Pants.
Moszna castle Poland I've often thought that given the option of picking the human race or aliens during an invasion. I'd side with the species that started with nothing but it's barehands. Here I am getting all pleased with myself after cooking my omelette this morning. And then here's these guys and their total mastery of their respected crafts.
? Why wouldn't the invading Alien species have also started from scratch? Considering they mastered inter-stellar or inter-dimensional travel before us, I'd say they'd be light-years (ha ha.... sigh) ahead.
Yeah but would they have hands? What if they have two small angry heads where our hands would be and a giant hand where our head would be. It's just a whole nother evolutionary path. Maybe they have tentacles. Maybe they desire personal hygiene the same way we desire space travel. I mean how does an alien get around life's oddities with two heads for hands and a giant hand for a head. This is far to heavy for this time of day I haven't had my water yet.

Commonly known as a Butterfly Bush but the actual name is Buddleia davidii/Summer Lilac, they come in various colours. Plant one in the garden and you'll experience Butterfly heaven.
You are a wonderful person for finding and sharing that! My sweet and cuddly exterior to hide the evil with....!
Nice! Not quite what I'd pictured (hadn't considered the possibility of a scene TBH) but it looks great.
I've never captured a butterfly but you've reminded me of a couple moths I got good shots of. Been a while since I've taken pictures. You make me want to go in the yard with my camera.
Keeping the theme. I live by a river (which ain't as tranquillydyllic as imagined (mozzy bites/horseflies too!)). But had a 'Brown Hawker' visit my garden path a week back. Came larva/nymph/molted by the Mersey. Then, in stretching its many wings, came over to see me. I'm half half deaf but heard it's thrum. Stayed long and still enough for me to iPhone capture it. Brown & Gold & Blue and..Pretty.
