Staring at your dogs while they eat does nothing to get revenge for them staring at you while you eat.

I do that because my older dog tends to sneak in and eat what’s left of the younger dog’s food and the latter just lets him.

I've read eleven of those, and I can say, without fear of contradiction, that there is nothing in any of them that would warrant banning them. I can understand why we'd want to protect the tiny tykes from the likes of The Adventures of Super Diaper Baby, or The Holy Bible, though.

I read the Old Testament not too, too long ago. 5 years? Not sure what I was researching... I think I had an idea to reinterpret the 12 tribes of Israel in outer space with robots or something. Didn't get very far, apparently.

I'd read that. I'm always up for a Jewish robot tale.

I first read that as "hippies" and immediately wanted some munchies.

I've read fourteen, but only heard the Samuel L. Jackson audiobook version of Go the Fuck to Sleep. I suspect that's one case where the audiobook is superior to the printed page.

I dropped my phone with the cracked screen into the toilet at work this evening. Turns out painting the cracks with clear fingernail polish works.

Curious about how they defined "banned." Does it take just one parent who objects?

I've seen "most commonly challenged" as a descriptor, which I suspect is more accurate. I think they use "banned" for shock value.

Yeah, and "pulled from the local public library" (or even private school library) isn't the same as "banned." To my mind, "banning" something would be criminalizing at least the sale of it, if not the possession.

The $10,000 bill was first printed in 1928 and featured an image of Salmon P. Chase, the Secretary of the Treasury under President Lincoln who oversaw the first issuance of “ greenback ” notes in 1861.
