Another song that got me through high school
"imma be alright, you aint gotta be my friend tonight. Imma be ok, you would probably bore me anyway"

    ETA:
Youtube learns lol. After playing Mac Miller, Paak, and Brother Ali, its starting to play some of the older songs that i used to listen to. Baby Blue by Action Bronson ft. Chance The Rapper

So glad the samples for Hellboy finally cleared and that mixtape is on Spotify now. Was his most cohesive project.

@J.T. Woody I dunno about you but I feel like it's been a bad year for hip-hop when 21 Savage and Metro have released the best album. The Morgan Freeman skits are great, filled with ignorant bangers too.

i have to say that i've limited my radio time. where I live currently.... hip-hop isnt played on the radio stations. pretty much pop, country, and rock (genres i dont have issues with, but it gets pretty boring after a while).
Makes me miss the radio stations from back home. So i'm sorry to say that i have not kept up with whos "in" these days :dead:

Good ole Pandora has never let me down though!

I "liked" a G-Eazy song, now its been playing G-Eazy songs more frequently. I've got this one stuck in my head since yesterday

    oldy but a goody!

My boy Miles just keeps on killing it. His songs have helped me through some times.

I like a couple of G-Eazy songs. His name originally was 'Generic' as far as I remember and it seems his aim has always been that, lol. One of Them and Random were good.

I can't help but feel Peep has influenced so many artists these days lol.

Haha, it's kind of basic but I was hooked on his song "Achievement" for a while.

For real; RIP Lil Peep. I am admittedly more into Miles (sewerperson / 9TAILS) more than I was into Lil Peep's stuff, but I think it's fair to say they're from the same scene, along with guys like Guardin.

    never knew that. Ha!
he has this one song that i hate with a passion, but listen to it whenever it comes on because of the stupid lyrics that make absolutely no sense.
    In Lady Killers, he says:
Lyrics: "I promise I could make her fly away like caterpillars"
    Me: ......but caterpillars dont fly.....

Lyrics: "Yo girl on some Romeo and Juliet 'Cause she would rather kill herself than ever be with you again"
me: ......but Juliet killed herself because she wanted to be with Romeo in death....

Lyrics: "Bitches ride the wagon, but I'd rather give her cholera"
me: .....you'd rather give her a disease that causes acute diarrhea and death.....?

Lyrics: "And you like me when I'm silent, silent but I'm deadly"
Me:..... did you just compare yourself to a fart?

I'm not sure if it sounds familiar because it's sampled from somewhere, or because it's just using some very familiar Japanese instruments and scale. But you very well might be right!

Or maybe another artist sampled it from G-Eazy? ;P

    ...

I miss this sound (ignore the fact I was, like, 1 when they performed this). Almost every song they play here sounds better in this live performance than on the album; the mark of a great band.

It was in a Slaughterhouse BET Cypher but i'm unsure of where it originated.

This version of Spiders sounded better, I forget how much I love System, you made me think of it. They must have been fried in this performance.

That SOAD performance of Spiders definitely goes down on my list of best live performances of all time! I totally forgot about that video. Watching it again now, I think you're right; they all look absolutely gone haha.

Sometimes I wish I could float away forever in a vibe.

SOAD never surrendered their integrity, very rare a band quits whilst they're ahead. Wanted another album though :(
