I'm convinced that anyone who says 'it's just a dog/cat/etc' obviously have never owned a pet in their lives, so of course they don't understand the pain of losing one. Our pets are family no matter how you look at it. Very sorry for your loss.:(

So sorry. I love my baby too. It's so wrong that we get to keep them for such a short time.

Thank you, It is very wrong. I do feel her presence though, I know that she is still with me though she is gone. She was my child, and I was her mother. There is no greater bond than between a dog and its owner. She was more than that though, she was my friend. She always listened to me, and never passed judgment... sometimes I wish humans were like that.

    I'm tired.

    I don't know why.

    I'm 22.

Where did all my energy go? Where was the boy who could study for hours on end without pause, without losing concentration?

Where was the boy who could run around all day, sleep for 6 hours, then get up again charging towards a new morning?

    I'm 22, but I feel 50.

I'm probably one of the youngest members here, and I got to say I understand how you feel. I'm still very very young and yet I need a cup of coffee in the morning. My mother always said I was born 42.

I like to refer to life as a battery... When we go to sleep we recharge that battery. I notice that a lot of the time, something has happened in a person's life that made their battery lose power easily. Therefore that's why some in my opinion feel more out of energy when they are younger.

I understand how you feel, a few years ago a beloved cat passed in my arms, I still have tears for her.

Missed the bus I was trying for by a minute, but there's another one due seven minutes later, no problem.

    Bus was five minutes late.

But I build extra time into my schedule for just these occasions.

Reserved a seat on the express train to the city via their website.

Bus caught every red light and picked up or dropped off at every stop, leaving me rushing up the stairs to my platform. What should have taken five minutes had just taken eighteen.

Did you know the express train leaves from a different platform on Saturday morning than on weekdays?

So now I'm on a sub-express heading into my first day of new lessons. Like I said, I build in time, but there goes coffee and a muffin.

Winter came late this year, but now it's here. Time for another season of Ice Road Pedestrians. I hope I get a motorcycle helmet and hobnail boots for Christmas.

    I miss my grandma.

She's sick, old, and isolated due to Covid-19.

Usually in this time of the year she'll be making noodle soup for me with chicken broth and hardboiled eggs. but I can't see her.

Six fucking rounds of "find the crosswalk, now find the bicycle, now find the traffic light, now... " all because google is scared a spammer might find general search info.

I just quit, I'll find it later.

Of course, since I use one of the more popular VPNs, this is just my life now.

Need some help with my new Lenovo Chromebook if anyone knows anything about laptops.

On starting it up for the first time it asked for my internet password to connect me to the internet. I put it in and got an error message saying: failed to connect to network. bad password." Tried several more times and still nothing. Turned off laptop and router, left it for a few minutes. Started up router (BT hub) waited for it to turn blue. Tried again and still getting the message.

Using my spare laptop at the moment and it's working fine. Anyone know what the problem could be or how to fix it?

Don't know if this might be it, but routers sometimes have two passwords, if I understand correctly? Have you checked your router to see if there is another key or access code attached to it?

I only bring this up because I've done it more than once. Check to see that the Caps Lock isn't on. Passwords are usually case-sensitive.

@cosmic lights Do you have any other devices currently able to connect to it? If so, try and make the key visible on those devices should the one on the card not be working. Otherwise I'd suggest plugging it in via ethernet cable/use the phone app and follow this. There should be some way in which you can force a reset of the key with access to your BT account.

Yup, tried both pass words just in case.
The caps key on my keyboard isn't highlighted and there's no indication anywhere that it is even on or off.
I daren't change my password and I shouldn't have to. My laptop and my tablet accepted it just fine.

I did some research and all I could find was trouble shoot stuff which I can't perform because I have no options other than "shut down" or "put in password".

Could it be faulty? Thanks for the replies.

I suppose you could have a bad key on the keyboard. This is one of the things I hate about Windows 10. It's possible to remove the sign-in requirement, but I think you have to be logged in to do it.

Try copy and pasting the password using a pen-drive and text file. That's all I can think of if it actually is a faulty key...

Sure, but that would be an unusual way for it to behave.

Do you need to log in to your old laptop? If not, my guess is that you're using the wrong credentials with the new one. Are you using wifi?
