Vanna can still get an intro up if she wishes, but with the knowledge that the story will be progressing. As I've mentioned, nobody gets the boot unless they are radio silent for 2 weeks. She's ok for now. We will just be moving forward and she may need to just play some catch up. (I say she, and that's a total assumption. My apologies if I'm wrong).

Hi DD, unfortunately, I need to drop out of the RPG... Right now I am very busy and though I want to participate, I simply cannot find the time to.
I have a question about the RP Is there a narrator and or a plot that we must follow or are we like just on our own with the story?
I'm pretty sure she is going to move the actually story forward in her next post. This is just a couple introductory get us all in the same place posting, then the story will begin. You're up next, then I'm after you.
Yes, that's the point of my role. However, I like to let my character's engage and also help create the story-line. Sure, I have plenty of ideas of things that are going to happen and how I -want- them to go, but I find fun in the unknown that my players provide. Much like when you play Dungeons & Dragons. You can prepare a game all you want, but there really is no preparing you for what your players decide to do lol. After this bit of interaction, I'll move it forward. When I do post narration, I will be using italics to indicate so, in it's own post. Just so there's no confusion between narration and Anna
DD - Question: How far has the advancement of technology gone in this world? Also, Theory: The world outside the city has slowly been nuked beyond recognition over the past millennia and anyone who has been living outside Territories has become some aggressive sentient abomination of sorts due to mutation from radiation - which is why the government doesn't want us going outside. The rain we experience in the city is actually a form of long term nuclear rainout (or something. I dunno.). It's far-fetched and I highly doubt it's possible... but I feel it's interesting
Mem- technological advances are certainly there, but isn't as advanced as you would maybe imagine they should be being in the future and all. Their medical advancement with technology is certainly impressive, but few know of it because it's reserved for the "elite". Your character, however, might ;] I'm open to suggestion if you have an idea of what sort of technology you are thinking of having on your person or something, shoot me a message and we can hash it out! As for the theory, I've certainly tossed that idea around in my head, however, the ultimate -true- reason that they don't let anyone outside of the walls is because of the fear of the unknown. They been walled in for so long that nobody is willing to welcome any "outsiders" or diseases into the already 'working' mix. However, once life outside the wall commences (soon, don't worry ;]) I will definitely be open to suggestion if there's something you would like to see/encounter. However....like I said, I have a story-line going on up in my noggin that I have to at least try to follow to see just how it plays out. It's probably not going to be what ya'll are expecting, but don't worry. I gotchu.
I would suggest throwing in a story line post very soon if not next. We don't have much to grab onto right now and a bit of solid ground while we all happen to be at the same spot would be a good idea.

Sorry, I'm not trying to be an issue. I've just been here for quite some time and lived through very very many abandoned RPGs. No problem at all!
I totally get it, it's disheartening when you put work into something and it barely goes anywhere. But I promise I will give plenty of heads up if there's ever a reason I'll be absent for a period of time, or if for whatever reason I have to pause the RP. But no worries! I have no intentions of doing that any time soon :] I'm running this exact story on another forum, so it's interesting to see the different characters and how this scene is playing out between the two. Quite fun, really. Also, I ended up getting rid of the posting order in the last one because I wasn't particularly a fan of it. It was a bit more problematic with the other group, but if you and everyone feels like we should lift the posting order and allow people to post when they can (with me policing from the sidelines if people are posting a bit -too- much) I am absolutely down for that as well. Just let me know what ya'lls opinions are!
I feel that we should keep with the posting order. It's organized and keeps things in line so things don't get too chaotic. At least in my opinion, anyway.
