Found them stored in the oven. Must have been there from yesterday around... 1:30 pm? I'm used to eating like that so I'm fine. My stomach is made out of steel.
Two hookahs on the top shelf. Shishas? Narghile? What do you call them in Greece? I've got one broken one and one not-very-good one, but still, I've got them.
Narghile. I haven't used one in ages. Not so into it, although I like their design. Both were presents.
Hah! They were soggy, but I had an appetite. What can I say? Still hungry... Bad weather has this effect on me. I so want to order something greasy and unhealthy! Eat it while watching xianxia. Do nothing productive all day. But I have to go out. I have to move my ass. It's still raining and it's cold. Too cold.
The most impressive aspect of this is that you've trusted it to stay put all this time. It also means the shelf has to be treated as a scale whenever you want to put anything on there. I'm flabbergasted!
I saw this around the corner for the longest time, maybe a year +, the aftermath of a smash and grab. ... When I uploaded it to this social media, strangely, I was the third user to do so that week?!.. I don't think I've seen any online since when searching, or saw any older posts than around the time I uploaded mine. My Mew Snapshots of my she cat Mew I took a screenshot of when viewing my gallery because it reminded me of a Beetles album cover for some reason; and I love her so.
I have faith in my construction skills. The shelf is so heavy in comparison to the decorations on it, that it won't bulge even if I move them around. I don't usually mess with it though. No reason. It's quite up high too.
Please explain something in this pic. I know my eyes aren't what they used to be, but it's like some kind of weird optical illusion is going on. The book shelf thing in the corner, next to the window. What the hell's going on there? Is it a double exposure or something? It's leaning weirdly, but the top just sort of disappears
@Malisky This group of pictures is one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time!! Especially the closing sequence getting closer on the cat. Very cinematic!! And I love the desk-side table made of books. Is that a sketchbook just at the top of it? @OurJud I was also confused by that. Suddenly I realized it's a mirror somewhat tilted against the wall. Either that or a doorway into a mirror dimension. @Malisky in Wonderland.
Started the laborious task of getting stuff packed up for the move. At least that’s my DVD collection boxed up. Just 9 ton of paperbacks and a mountain of other crap to take to the local tip and I should be ready.
I am appalled that I read that first box as "bbq queef" but not so appalled I can't tell you about it.
Just into the next town - bout 2 mile from where I am now. I'll happily dump all my books, but I watch DVDs more often than I watch normal television. Yeah, I didn't notice until I started to unfold them. The chap at the local corner shop was glad to get rid of them.
Work place selfie lol. Was gifted a library t-shirt. Decided to wear it for our big reopen. "The library is open"
The only ones with offices are the directors and managers, so the only place for us little people to store our coats and stuff is the locker room. I figure every workplace has a staff area. Ours just has lockers in it
Restaurants don't have staff areas. Don't think I've seen one anywhere. Except for the casino, which had 7000 employees. If you're likely, you might have an enclosed kitchen and half a prep table. Or an expo line partially hidden behind a wall. Shit, I'm wracking my brain now, indexing 25 years worth of restaurants on even semi-staff areas, and I got nothing. Usually there ain't even a coat rack. We at least have a chef's table offset from the kitchen where staff can leave there shit and eat. Unless the table is booked, in which case, everyone throws their coats in my office. Drives my chef nuts, but she's a bit of a neat freak, which is a bit unusual for a chef, but she's a complete whackadoo. That last part is not unusual at all.
