What Are You Doing?

8 hours, 9 good pages. I edited along the way, but this is still a vomit draft. I could tighten it some more with my wording, but I didn't because I like it as is for now. I'll see to that later with a fresher mind. I covered a lot of ground in the story. These 9 pages cover happenings in between a month and a half. I'm content and dead tired. Yep, another all-nighter. I started writing in the wee hours and didn't imagine I'd end up writing so much, so focused. Anyhow, since I can barely type anymore, I think I'll let it rest and put on a show or something. My back is killing me, but my conscience is as light as a feather. I'll go for a walk tomorrow whatever the case. Goodnight!

 

Life is ironically strange sometimes; makes no sense to your advantage. I just enrolled in a programme for attending some classes via zoom. The theoretical classes last 200 hours and after that I'm gonna get paid 1000 euros. If only school was always like that I'd be rich by now.

 

Right now I've just sat back at my desk again to psyche myself up to log back into my day job, it's not that I hate my job, just having worked from home since march last year has really done a number on my motivation

 

Watching some weird political drama on TeeVee. Pretty improbable plot line, tbh, but we'll see how the new season goes

 

Riding a euphoric high due to elections and personal life.

Trying not to do anything too crazy, yet wanting to bask in it for as long as it lasts.

 

Being working through the aftermath of 2020 recently. Will return and make some critiques eventually.

 

Just came back from a 20 minute wall stare. Netflix asked if I was still watching Star Trek, but the controller was out of reach, so I just kind of spaced out for a while.

Now I'm going to go write.

 

That's really good for your brain, you know. I read an article about it once in a popular science magazine. Resting your cerebral muscles increases focus. Either that or you have dementia.

 

Played the frets for a bit. Starting to have a bit more confidence in my fingers
actually doing what I want them to for a change.

Watching A Hard Day’s Night. It’s a curious film but no less brilliant for it. The dialogue exchanges are wonderful.

What a busy day of reading and writing. Finished a 2500 word article, beta read most of a novel and submitted responses, came up with two more ideas for the short story collection, created a new character, and now I'm off to read yet another horror novel for study. It's an endless weekend of work work work. But at least it's in subjects I enjoy.

 

Been having an intel vs ryzen beef with a friend. That was fun.

 

Didn't know Intel sold beef (just kidding, your English was fine)

 

Staring at blank screen, then scanning the web, then back to the blank screen.

 

Drinking whiskey, listening to dramatic music and trying to shut my vacant mind off. Not thinking of something in specific, but I can't shut it down. Tomorrow it's protest day. I decided to go. It's malox, cardio and a hell lot-a-panic. Not exactly where I was dreaming of finding myself at, but... oh well. Bottoms up.

 

Lucky you. I'm starting to envy too. Without the water though. I prefer rocks.

 

The protest was fine. No drama or violence occurred. It was big. Over 12.000 people big and all the measurements were kept as good as it goes and to those that object by saying: "but pandemic" the answer is: "then don't go legislating fascist educational laws and reformations during a pandemic". They won't pass unnoticed. It's been ages since I saw so many people on such a fine day.

Went out to buy boots. Couldn’t find anywhere selling boots. Bought a bottle of G and a bottle of T instead.
