I wake up and these are the first things I see on my Facebook feed.

    https://www.boredpanda.com/conspiracy-people-burning-fake-snow/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=BPFacebook&fbclid=IwAR1hkQUqJFyxxk_8OPH1XFUsE-wtcyUKZBsEzz8TZwUUtKDF_WLO-P3-6S4

    https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/viral-helen-keller-tiktok-scary-231355846.html

Apparently snow is fake and Helen Keller doesn't exist.

...Social Media, what the ever loving... -_- I'm getting too old for this.

Really hope they're just trolling because otherwise, damn. -_-

On a more interesting historical note, it seems Helen Keller flew a plane. :O Like someone sat her down in the cockpit, put her hands on the steering and let her steer.

To be fair, Hellen Keller doesn’t exist. She did at one time, but has since stopped and left us to find other examples of indomitable spirit and drive.

Myself, I’m wasting time watching Monsters Inc, and trying to drum up the energy to get some cleaning done. I also have to get some magazines to the recycle center. The pile has gotten so big the cats are sleeping on it.

Taking a break from working on my project guitar.
Got the neck and bridge mounted, also all the wiring
is done (though it was a pain in the ass.) :p)
Not much left outside of putting on the tone/volume
knobs, pickups, back plates, strap buttons, truss plate,
strings. and sand and polish the body (the parts that need some fixing. :)

Though cats will sleep on a single magazine, generally the one you're trying to read.

    Good morning to all-
I'm listening to the cardinals sing as the sun comes up on this foggy morning. As soon as it's light, I will walk about my property enjoying myself and probably will need to water some infant tomato plants I set out yesterday. I might just take up my fly rod and head to the local pond to lay a line on the water in hopes of tempting some fish.
Later today we go to get our second COVID vaccine shot. Then in two weeks, I can rejoin the world of the living. It has been a damned long year, this past one.
And I will need to load up the boat in a couple of days to get some photos for an article assignment I received yesterday.

Not exciting, but quite satisfactory, I assure you.

    good day to all- Ed

The roofers called it day about 6pm yesterday, and showed up bright and early and 8am today. I doubted they could do the roof in two days, but it looks like they might pull it off. I just have to keep my dogs from exploding till their done.

Kidding aside I logged back on here after however many years because I'm working on a new supposedly-going-to-be novel-length WIP. I'm excited about it, this time I made sure to think through the ending before getting started and am writing at a steady enough pace that in a couple of months I hope to have something worth workshopping.

Texans were burning snow to prove it doesn't melt? Well, by that standard McDonald's 'milkshakes' are definitely fake. I once found an ancient paper cup with the remains of one under the seat of my car and it was not liquid.

Texans are just generally dumb when it comes to snow. And I can say that bc I was born on the West Coast, raised on the East Coast, and have lived in Central Texas for the last 8 years. Texans are dumb when it comes to snow. Driving in it, dealing with it, dressing for it, prepping for it....and, now, apparently, believing that it's fake. SMDH.

Whoof, I'm at work. I should be working. But a lot of my job requires waiting, and because I wait, I get distracted, and join forums, and write, because that's all that's immediately accessible at the moment. No higher ups work on the weekends so it's free reign. And then I dread when Monday comes around and somebody finds out I wasn't working as hard as I could have been. At least I'm keeping busy.

I'm trying to figure out how to hang somebody from their wrists with just enough contact of the toes with the floor so the ordeal won't kill the victim, just soften them up.

(Don't worry, it's research for the W.I.P. Not planning on trying it out IRL.)

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to delete that from my history so no one thinks I'm building a torture chamber. :p :ninja:

Ah Linky-san, you are so concerned with your search history. Tell me, do you think the all-seeing eye regards you as more or less guilty with your frequent history-scrubbing?

Finished! I'll tune it in 5 seconds again. My babe is a Levinson Blade Rh-2 Classic. It's an all round guitar. Perfect for people that like to play different genres. Strings 10/52's this time. I've tried a few combinations. Depends on what I'm into the moment I switch strings.
