Was just making some notes on my WIP and meant to write "reader" but wrote "dreader" instead, surely a harmless Freudian slip

"The slack yellow skin of his shoulders and chest so bloodless and lined that he appears patched up out of odd scraps and remnants of flesh, tacked with lap seams and carefully bound in the insubstantial and foul gray web of his undershirt." -Cormac McCarthy, Suttree ... really any sentence in this book.

How does a plastic drinks bottle develop a leak while sat overnight in a knapsack?

No, it’s not a joke. I took it to work on Friday and it wasn’t leaking. I’ve checked the bottom of my knapsack and it’s dry. And yet when I came to make a drink in it Saturday afternoon I find it’s drip-leaking from the base!

It's taken me years to find a decently comfortable chair. I'm only 24, I'm not even at the old-and-creaking stage yet, and I still haven't found a chair of my own that I don't ache in. I literally hate having a butt. Why do humans have to sit anyway? I can never get comfortable, even lying down. It's not a posture issue, I've been looking out for that. The only one that's good is my mum's chair, but she literally needs it to sleep and it's super expensive.

Good idea. We used to have one, I could have another look for it. Although I'd be terrified. One loose fart, and you'd be rolling away.

I'll admit, the first thing I thought of when I saw the words 'exercise balls' was a total innuendo.

I won’t be buying this particular Chinese MP3 player. Apparently it’s a bit of a loony!

    • do you want to see my Gutenberg?
    • that's thick

Amazing how many people are so anxious to separate other people from their money. That is, separate the other people from the other people's money. See, the first group wants to take away, from the second group, money that rightfully belongs to the second group. Sometimes English can be complicated, and when you have to explain what was supposed to be pithy statement it loses its impact. Anyway you know what I mean. Or, I guess, meant. I think. That is, I presume you understand what I was trying to say. Or, technically I guess, to write.

Taping up the main electronics hole on the back of a guitar is strange.
Not that it helps that they deliberately cut the hole in a strange way
to begin with. Never the less, all holes are taped up along with where
the neck sets on the body. So hopefully after food, I can get to clear
coating it, considering I attacked the body last night with a sander
to get rid of the neon green paint (and restained) the whole thing (again).
So progress yay, but my pants have a greenish tint from all that sanding
    last night. :p
