Everybody always talks about having 'shower thoughts'
But has anyone ever wondered what a shower would actually think about?
Food for thoughts not particularly happening while in the shower :D

I’ve had an amazon review rejected in the past, on the grounds I made a price comparison, and yet this ‘review’ of a canvas wallet is accepted. The Ming boggles.

I've decided not every coincidence is a sign, not every sign is beneficent, and not every whim is sound. I'll stick with my beater and rent a truck if I need one.

Years ago I kinda studied the Tao te Ching. Now I've rediscovered it.

Years ago I lived in Nebraska. Now I live in Wisconsin. The cover of the Tao te Ching I bought shows a photo from the Wisconsin Dells, not far from where I am (I didn't realize it until a few months after I bought the book; I've been to that spot). The photographer for the book has a doctorate (in experimental high energy particle physics) from the University of Wisconsin, a couple miles from my house. Somehow it feels things are drawing together.

That's where I heard it, but later I discovered it came from somewhere else originally. It's a really (reeeally) weird 80's movie. I loved for a while, but looking at it now it just seems weird as hell. That said, there are definitely things I still remember and dig from it.

I think your keyboard is broken. I mean, the W is right next to the S, but the H didn't take at all.

Does anyone else have extremely vivid dreams?

Lately I keep dreaming about this one person, and in the dream I'll be following the plot as usual, and at the moments where I'm doing something good or stepping in to help someone (for example), this person will either be in the background already or they'll soon appear, and at these moments in the dream, they just catch eye contact with me and s t a r e. But like, in a haunting, soul-searching, 'I know you', good, kind of way. It's the same person every time. But they absolutely Do Not Know Me, so the whole thing is a bit wtf, you know?

Last night in my dream, I was intervening in this abusive relationship and I offered the woman a place to stay, we walked down the road together, and he drove past us in a car and just l o o k e d at me. All I could see was his eyes.

Idk guys. These have all been vivid-but-good dreams, but when I wake up, the feeling doesn't shake and it's almost unsettling lmaoo.

Although actually, having these kind of dreams isn't always bad. Book 2 that I'm working on, I came up with the whole extensive plot during 1 dream. It was amazing.

I wonder what people in the past would think of us, especially when flying. I mean, people dreamed of flying all the time since the very start. And we... just do it. I'm especially thinking of what would happen if we dragged one of them and then put him on a blimp. Or airship.

Are we gonna "drag" him or "drug" him. Might have an impact on the story.

    Probably something like this:
Enjoy :) (the rest of his videos are great too)

I always wanted to have a really cool power called automation. Basically you just think what you want to happen and the program would generate it for you. The drawback being that you still had to actively sit there and THINK it, sometimes it would take more than one try if you're processing everything too quickly. (for example writing a novel in a word processor)

Maybe I didn't think this through. A year of growing a COVID beard, and I kind of like it. Had to renew my driver's license (every 4 years) and realized now I have to keep the beard or spend a lot of time trying to convince police officers and the like that the hairy guy in the photo is really the clean-shaven me. Might not matter, because for now anyway I'm keeping it.

I had really long hair and was 100 pounds overweight when I got my pic taken. Of course you couldn't see how long my hair was (it was at least halfway down my back) but you could tell it was long. But the weight change really made me look like a different person. Nobody ever questioned me about it.

And of course they stopped taking new photos every time you go in to renew your license. It used to be you'd get a new pic each time (IIRC), but that picture, probably ugliest one I ever had taken, remained with me for like 12 years.

I had to get 4--four--IDs in the last few years. One was only good for a year when I moved back to RI from NH, the second was a regular reissue on its normal expiration cycle, the third was a few months later when they started doing that Real ID bullshit, and the fourth was a few months after that when I moved and needed my official residence for the homeowner's exemption tax.

My driver's license always comes up for renewal when I can't get home. Recently I've been able to renew it online but that wasn't always possible, and this time I need to take the eye test again.

I've had to take the driving test three times so far, and the next time I go home will be number four. Imagine taking that test when you haven't been behind the wheel for a year or more.
