Weird. In the version of AmE I grew up with a condo is an apartment you own. Renting a condo would be... an apartment.

My aunt and uncle rented a condo for a while. It was like a house but they had no responsibility for the yard. I think the condo people mowed the lawn.

We can not know anymore in this matrix. Is the screen even real? What if our eyes are showing us the truths we expect? Instead of the true-truths?

its a fact proven by English holiday makers every year .. if you speak English slowly and loudly as if you're talking to an imbecile, foreigners automatically understand you

It just seems like $500 is pretty expensive unless you're taking an actual class.

Oh, you are taking a class. Never mind. No, I am American. I just have a stupid German name to preserve anonymity.

I love lunch and smokes! Nearly midnight here, but I can have a second lunch if I choose.

If the smokes are distinctly lacking tobacco, I would like to partake as well.

I'm sitting in a car waiting on my friend and it's been a while now. Wish I had brought something with...

Got those too. And it's totally legal now, which would have seemed batshit crazy even 10 years ago.

You see some bat-shit crazy punctuation on the web - stuff that just doesn’t make sense. I’ve seen sentences where the writer does things like use a capital lEtter eVery sEcond cHaracter. Just weird.

Is it? Oh, well, I’ve never understood those things. But I have seen punctuation that isn’t a meme and equally as strange.

When I have seen this done it is as a mockery of whatever sentiment is being expressed. Sometimes simply retyping someone's statement in this manner suffices- it's like repeating something someone said in a funny voice.

oR jusT raNdOm caPiTalS—never the first letter.

Also sarcastic and snarky. Makes you think the person is probably a rebellious teenager expressing angst, but probably not.
