You see some bat-shit crazy punctuation on the web - stuff that just doesn’t make sense. I’ve seen sentences where the writer does things like use a capital lEtter eVery sEcond cHaracter. Just weird.
Is it? Oh, well, I’ve never understood those things. But I have seen punctuation that isn’t a meme and equally as strange.
When I have seen this done it is as a mockery of whatever sentiment is being expressed. Sometimes simply retyping someone's statement in this manner suffices- it's like repeating something someone said in a funny voice.
