I don't think there's been any real update yet, it was just ported over to a new server (if I'm using the terminology right). Updates or upgrades come later, but I think the new server was necessary before that can happen.

Thread creation in contests isn't working for me either...

Thats not actually broken... there are so few books in it is because Komposten deactivated the adds for most of the ones that belonged to people who are no longer active.

If you want a book added to it you need to private message me the full description you want and a jpeg of the cover and I'll add it when i get a minute

Related to Moose's report, I'm showing member WyrdForge as having the generic male avatar (like the one Simon Price below is displaying) but somehow it's coming up as a broking image link in Recent Posts. Happened earlier today but I was indisposed to report it.

OK, so the double posting issue appears to happen to me when I click "post reply", and the reply does not appear to post in the thread. So I click it again, and now my first and second attempt both appear.

So the first attempt obviously posts, but does not immediately update the screen.

EDIT: Ironically, happened on this post.

Refreshing the browser after the first "post reply" fails seems to do the trick. Annoying, but it seems to work.

Yup, that's what I do now. Although it saves your reply in the compose box (or at least, it does if your reply took more than a few seconds to type).

I've found that if nothing happens when you click the Post Reply button you don't need to click it again (that'll get the dreaded double-post). Instead just refresh the page and lo and behold, your post will now magically be there! If people do it this way it should save a lot of double-post issues and mods won't have to delete so many of them.

And if you do accidently double-post, you can just delete the copy yourself rather than waiting for the staff to do it.

I'm getting intermittent failures to find the site on my tablet (Android, Chrome, both with VPN and without) over the last couple hours. I'll try and pm on FB with more info the next time it crops up, if it does.

I never see mine, but maybe it's just a coincidence that it's not featured in the rotation when I happen to be around.

Incidentally, this post showed up without my having to refresh. So perhaps the double-posting issue is fixed?

I've seen yours its definitely there

on the book rotator thing, i'd just mention that its not a rotator per se, i have to create each ad manually which takes a lot of time
