For those old enough to remember The Mod Squad, Clarence Williams III dead at 81.

 

Road hazards are a real thing, and are exponentially more dangerous- even deadly -for motor cycles. 65 year old Thomas Kovalik did it with style though. He managed to hit a full grown bear.

Known for the Pocket Fisherman, something that slices, dices, and even makes Julienne fries, and did he also do the spray to cover baldness? I'm sure there's more, but that's what comes to mind immediately.

 

I caught an article on Dusty Hill that speculated he may have accidentally over dosed. In the past year or two he broke a shoulder, then broke a hip, plus had been developing ulcers, and was on an array of pain medication. I’m not aware if any official cause of death has been released, but this suggestion is at least sympathetic.

 

Markie Post has joined the growing Night Court cast reunion in the sky.

 

ooh I love Markie Post she did a terrific tv movie with Cindy Williams which would have made a great tv series. I feel old. All my old fave celebrities are either retiring or dying and the new crop just seems ... frighteningly uninspiring.

 

I have to admit that I didn't know any of the members' names, but one of the founding members of Kool & The Gang, saxophonist Dennis Thomas, has just passed.
