As for the ship, a few visuals help. A carrack looks a lot like this, except this carrack will have three masts in the story: Spoiler: the carrack With an interior sort of like this: Spoiler: interior Minus all the crazy animal people of course. That stuff is for later. Welcome aboard!
Character Sheets Name: Hasufel Wintercloak Age: (17) Gender: Male Appearance: Leanly muscled lad who usually wears a white winter coat with white fur lining. Tan brown skin and choppy white hair and light brown eyes. His face looks slightly broken, his nose to the side slightly and one eyebrow higher than the other due to a devastating scar, but his mouth was like rose petals and his jaw is sharp. Long fingers and big feet. Personality: Narcissistic to the core, only is concerned with making himself the star, the hero, the protagonist, self absorbed and conceited. Background: Hasufel and all his family members from generations past had always worshipped the sword. Hasufel practices diligently with his sword to become even more refined. He has gone to Sword Academy and graduated as what is titled a Specialized Swordsmaster, due to his years of intense training in the arts, sciences, linguistics, herbology, battle tactics and espionage techniques. He hopes to one day become a Royal Knight or a King or a Legendary War Hero. Something iconic. Sea-Faring and Adventure Skills: Hasufel has trained to be able to starve for three weeks only eating scraps, but in most cases he has food or has access to it through hunting. He finds it's easy to hunt big birds and sticks to those mostly, because the bigger beasts tend to want to kill you first. As for adventuring, Hasufel has been slowly venturing through villages, mostly looking for trouble to solve but sometimes causing trouble accidentally. Word of the masterful traveller who does good deeds had spread wide, most of the tales good and maybe two or three where he messed up. Hasufel is just now going out on this errant knight journey and is still trying to step into his power, his destiny, his iconography. Luggage: White Fur Cloak, Sword and Hilt, small brown leather backpack for snacks and essentials, mostly white clothing, white leather shoes, a crossbow for emergencies. Make sure to post character sheets in the OOC thread: https://www.writingforums.org/threads/corpse-spring-isle-ooc.171389/
This sounds like a fairly good expedition shoring party leader. I would have you post in the main thread as having already been on the ship and welcoming new recruits to the arms and armory of the ship. There's only a modest armory on boards with hand weapons and bows mostly. This is an exploration ship, so no cannons. Feel free to post in the main thread.
Hi, sorry for not being too active lately, I'm having a friend over this week and thought I hoped to squeeze in a post or two, I wasn't able to. I'm gonna get back to actively participating in about 2-3 days if that's okay.
After you post, I'll post to get us moving along and interact with Erik a little. It's a slow start, but I think once the voyage gets moving it should be alright. Thanks for sticking around still!
Sorry, was busy with endless holiday gatherings, work, and the final days of my second degree. Now all but the Christmas dinner is out of the way. I should be able to get a moving passage up tomorrow morning. Again, I apologize for the wait. Life just gets up in the way sometimes. I'm back though!
