When I was an exchange student at Kabul University, in the halcyon days before the Russian invasion, we went to a local subtitled showing of a western known in English as "A Town Called Hell." That apparently offended Muslim sensibilities, so they re-titled it, "A Town Called Bastard." Not sure I follow the thinking behind the new name selected.
Of the three, only Toby Maguire was the first iteration of the character in a film (Although there were TV Spiderman series and 2 part specials cut into films). Adam West did a batman movie in 1966 (While Lewis G Wilson was the first tv batman in 1943) George Reeves did a Superman movie in 1951 (Kirk Alyn did the first Superman serial in 1948)
Considering messaging someone I used to talk to, but I don't know if it's the best idea. Sometimes I miss them.
He was a menace, glad Spartan was able to track him down. Hopefully museum curators have learned not to keep the weapon exhibits loaded. So remiss!
I was hoping to learn the secret of life, the universe, and everything when I turned 42. Didn't happen.
My epiphany was realizing that most of those tearing me down were just as flawed as I, and often worse.
The secret is there is no secret. There's nothing to figure out. Legit, not one single thing. No mysteries, no secrets, no answers. Everything just is and can't be anything else by definition.
While I'm mostly in agreement, I could still use some help in locating my towel. Where the hell did I put it?
But that also leads to the dreaded lost towel falling behind a rarely seen corner while wet. Misery grows there.
I did message them, and I learned I don't miss them as much as I thought I did. Good thing we live several hours apart, or that reunion would have been awkward.
I don't care for serial fiction. While I loved the Hobbit, had to put down LOTR half way through the third volume. Furthest I ever got through one was book four of Dune.
Doubtful I'll ever have to worry about it, but I would hate any occupation where I was expected to sign autographs.
I misinterpreted "occupation" and was trying to figure out why an enemy invader or subjugated resident would be handing out their John Hancock...
Well, that's different. Make me the military strongman, and I'll sign anything you put in front of me.
Sometimes I go to the "Calendar" function when I need to use the "Calculator" function and vise versa.
