Is this happening for other people, or is it just me? I'm talking about this little guy: It works fine in the Reply window, but if you've already made a post and pull up the Edit window, it just isn't there anymore. It used to be until a few days ago. Here's what the toolbar looks like for me now in Edit: Just a blank space next to Mister Moneybags.
I'm in mobile and that's the way it displays for me. But if I make an edit, I never save it as a draft. I never even noticed the save draft disk icon, so i cant say what it looked like before. Only time I save a draft is the automatic drafts that occur if you type something and don't hit the 'post reply' button.
Even in desktop mode, the disk icon is not showing up when editing a post. But I never used it though.
There's no need to save a draft, it autosaves every few seconds. Which is the problem. If you type something and then delete it, unless you click "Delete Draft" then if you go in to edit some more later (something I do a lot) whatever you wrote before comes back, and unless you notice and re-delete it it will show up in your post. Very pesky. I suppose the workaround would be to delete the unwanted sentence, wait for it to autosave that way, and then you should be good. I have yet to test it though. It just sucks that a function that used to be there, and was very helpful, is now gone. But my computer is acting kind of weird lately, it could be at my end. Ok, so far my workaround seems to be working. I still wish the Draft icon was there though. So much simpler.
