    Windy day

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Luanne Williams, Aug 10, 2022.

I am interested in posting some of my latest poetry and memoir material for critique. I have interests in many different venues of creative writing and presentation.

We have had incredibly hot days for a week. Today it is finally cooling off with a windy day. I am joining in summer and hoping to squash at least 24 hours of writing into the next few weeks with the nanomowriting initiative that started last month! I look forward to a busy couple of weeks!

    Way, way out there
Hi Luanne. I also plan to write up a storm through November, but I've already started, so I'm not doing it officially. But in the spirit of NanoWrimo I will try to dedicate as much time and energy to it during National Novel Writing Month as I can. I did it once before, the only time I completed a novel in first draft, and most of it was in November, but I didn't know about Nano then. I found out about it near the end, when I was checking to see how many words a story needs to be considered a novel. I think I started it in October and finished in December, but most of the writing was done in November. And here I find myself once again ramping up on a novel just before it hits.

Let's knock it outa the ballpark!!

Is anybody else planning on doing NaNoWriMo? Officially or otherwise?

I always plan on doing NaNo. I have participated most years and 'won' two different years. The two novel ideas I wrote were about 1/4 of the way of the stories I had in mind. I need to get back to them.
