I'll take a look at it, thanks. Curious to see what the myelin sheath thing is. I just know that it prevents charges from leaking out of the axons before jumping to the next one. People with MS have what they call a demyelinating disease.
@frigocc Have a supervillain in a grounded world, where no one has actual super powers. Your supervillain is called Iron-Owl. Its your story you do what you want with it. However, the use of tech and mech suits just sucks the thing into an MCU copy, if you’re not careful. Great you’ve already got an understanding of axons and the myelin sheath with a brilliant character name. Owl - Wikipedia What is an Owl, and what impression does it have on modern culture? The animal is a lethal bird of prey, evolving binocular vision with depth perception, using stealth over brute force and acceleration to bring down its prey. This is very different from a hawk or eagle or falcon, it thinks. In popular culture Owls are seen as wise and all knowing. The YouTube video gives you a lethal supervillain on a par with Professor Moriarty. Via a drug of some kind a new state develops in Iron-Owl’s brain. The axon links with myelin sheaths are agitated to force for a limited time only an excessive expansion. Iron-Owl wouldn’t display ultra-lighting quick movement, but instead have impossibly fast reaction time. His structural observation of time turns to super slow motion. In a bar fight the meathead brute would never be able to land a punch. Iron-Owl could avoid, move and pinpoint a counter with shocking accuracy every time. The heighted state wouldn’t make Iron-Owl more intelligent, but would allow for super study of subjects that would normally take years into hours. When Iron-Owl returns to his normal state he retains all the studied information. He now mimics SI1 or Super Intelligence 1. He can develop strategy and tactics for any villainous activity. The Owl becomes notorious, successfully striking high security banks in the dead of night… hacking systems leaving without a trace. This Iron-Owl is a lethal villain that preys on our community with impunity. Unlike ballistic brute force of smash and grab robbery that leaves its victims in shock for a short time, this supervillain leaves an underlying bubble of fear and tension that stays and doesn’t fade with time. He can get you; he can reach you, and when he does strike you won’t even know it. Just blackness. MartinM.
Jesus, that's scary. It looks fine at first, controlling things with your mind, but then you remember that a wireless connection goes two ways. Next product, anti virus and malware protection for your brain!
IDK, I saw a bio hack that involved putting a small magnate in a guy's finger. Not really sure what the purpose was, but that was what the video and commentary on it said it was.
