Ga-ching-ga-ching-ga-ching or ga-clunck-ga-ching-ga-clunck, depends on what surface they are dropping on >

Is closest I can think of and I quite like having sounds described in novels - it gives them a humourous almost cartoon feel.

Well, that's all well and good, Edward. No harm, no foul.

However, you most certainly did make a comment on the structure of the piece.

ANYWAY... this thread has given me a good variety of responses - including your own - and I'll take them all into consideration.

    Thanks guys!
