My friend got an agent. That's old week news, but still very exciting news.

I entered a contest. Hopefully exciting news to share on the 24th about advancing.

I can play on Thursday! It'll be my first run-out since getting the all-clear on my knee, so I'm hoping for at least one chance to fly into a bone-crunching tackle, taking the ball, the man and half his team-mates all at once.

All after thinking someone's stupid cock-up had cost me the chance.

    Thanks :)

The best bit is that I can tackle again!!! I've gone easy for two years, so there's more than a little frustration at having had to hold back from flying into the tackles I wouldn't have thought twice about throwing myself into before my knee injury. What's the betting that inside 25 seconds I'll have got injured again after going into a tackle and completely misjudging it? :p

I am happy because I'm finally revising my novel -- the one I finished but then did major chops on -- and I"m actually being productive about it. :)

Huh. Fair enough. Well, sorry you got beat up. Unless you deserved it- then I'm not sorry at all. ;)

I'm assuming you're the victim here, though...

Haha, take that, evil crayfish! [bundles uncooperative dissected specimen in paper towels and baggies and throws it away] Finally finished! I've never had a dissection that annoying/difficult.

I just took the hardest exam of my life. I feel oddly optimistic about it, which worries me a little bit. :p But I'm not going to stress about it until I have proof that there's reason to stress... like I failed. But I studied SO. HARD. All day yesterday, all night last night, all day today. I have never studied so hard for a subject I hated so much.

    My hand hurts.

    But I survived. :) I don't think I failed. I would be happy with a low B... pleasepleasepleaseplease?

Phew! In the past two days I've done webwork, a lab report, a quiz, and an exam. Now time to go memorize identification slides for my art history exam tomorrow morning. And then I need to write a three page analysis about Arabic influence on Spain, in Spanish. ...I cant believe it's only Tuesday.

Lavender...I never dissected anything in school. I objected and just got to just do the book work. Poor dead lab specimens.

I ran into a a friend while running errands today and we ended up at Starbucks chatting. There is a new even larger drink size there...the trenti...more caffeine!!!

Yay! Those slide tests are great, such easy marks compared to other tests.

And, yknow, yay for studying art history in general!

I got an 88% on my first math exam today! That will do nicely for my average. :)

    That's awesome.

Math wasn't my strong suit. Geometry I got the A's but algebra II I failed.

^See I didn't like Geometry that much. All those theorems got me in a tizzy. But I did pretty well in Algebra, which I'm very glad I did. I don't plan on becoming an architect anytime soon :D

I'm happy for having the best birthday today. Yay for me :)
