I've never been to Cedar Point. I've heard it's so much fun. My friend and I are promising to go to this amusement park in New Jersey, the name of it escapes me, but apparently it has the largest coaster in the nation (if not the world?). I love Kings Island though. We were the very first two people into the park that year, but we were probably behind you on the groups. We waited at the fence for a few moments because we didn't have gold or platinum passes (or whatever) before just saying "screw it" and sneaking in among the crowd. It was so fun trying to beat everyone there though. And Gael Garcia Bernal... I just watched Diarios de motocicleta the other day; he makes a wonderful Che Guevara, and I just so happen to be (procrastinating on) analyzing La mala educacion for Tuesday's final presentation... He's really a great actor and looking at him is a nice way to pass the time.
Oh yesh Kings Island is amazing, and it's only four hours away from me I love the diamond back, drop zone, and flight of fear.. I got my picture on the flight of fear.. but I'd never show anyone that.. It doesn't compliment me at all LOL only if you consider a Screaming face and flying hair pretty Haha. I love kings Island and I usually go every year at least once.. My eighth grade year I went 3 times in less than a month. That was splendid! Cedar point is very well also If you love roller coasters.
I am a coaster junkie! I have a little photo of my cousin and I the first time we went. I was five, and she was six. She was so. angry. that we couldn't go on the big people rides, so she told me to not smile on the little Scooby Doo ride they had, and if they saw that we were "too good" for little kid rides, we might be able to go on the big ones. I remember trying so hard not to smile, but when that photo came out, she was sitting there with that classic arms-crossed-little-kid-angry pose, and I was sitting beside her, laughing hysterically with my arms up in the air. #awwww
I got dragged onto Shiekra at Busch Gardens and I nearly had a breakdown LOL. It was fun, but with two vertical drops... I had my eyes closed the whole time haha!! I've never been to Cedar Point either, but I've always wanted to go. I used to go to Six Flags when I lived up in Chicago. Now that I'm down in Florida, there's Disney, Universal, and Busch Gardens.
It's almost as weird as Patrick Stewart popping up on my recommendations. With about a dozen mutual friends
Handsome! Ahum. But yes, you are. Nice! You're also very pretty! And I'm very jealous, I'd love to travel to all those places... Edit: Went walking yesterday and pretended I was going to jump in the water and stuff...
^Lydia! What are you doing?! Looks like fun...I need to take a walk sometime I feel so trapped sometimes on the days when I don't work.
Lydia, you're such a sweet little sugarplum fairy. Look at your little skirt and flip-flops. Adorable! (Do tell me if I sound at all patronising...LOL. )
Would it be weird for me to say that I like your eyebrow shape? Because it is nice. /emilystopbeingafreakgah.
Thanks everyone! And yes, walking is great. =) Come live here! We could hang out all the time! Hahaha, well, maybe it's a little patronising... It did give me a good laugh, though. But thanks- I'm guessing being a sweet little sugarplum fairy is good, hehe.
Um, Actually I'm going to sound weird and say that I really like the eyebrows too... something about them... they're amazing and like... perfect. I swear I don't have some strange eyebrow obsession either. >.> I suppose I'll also stop primarily being a lurker, and post a picture!
Sevvie: You remind me of Kate Maberly (who played Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden, Wendy in Finding Neverland).
^Oh my gosh, Eunoia! You're right! All you need to do, Sevvie, is dye your hair auburn Very pretty picture...
I get told that I look like a lot of people. Kate Maberly is a new one though, though I can see the resemblance. Generally I get told I look like Alizee.
Identity Festival was something else. I had a great time. I'm so exhausted though. The festival was from 1PM to 11PM, although because of a traffic accident we didn't get there until around 3PM. We had a small afterparty too that lasted until about 6AM... And I woke up at 9AM. Unghhhh. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. I was tempted to make the 6-hour drive to Detroit (second city on the tour) to do it all over again. I may have if I hadn't been so tired!!
