Nice to hear, i would like to visit Russia one day. Mainly for it's vast geography. It seems clear to me that you have explored alot since you departed from the site, am i right? Im assuming you mentioned places like Mount Everest and such? That is one of the many places i would love to visit...

    Mercurial! :) How've you been?

I must admit that I was joking in that paragraph, I wanted a dramatic entrance. Honestly though, I did go to Russia. :D

Nice name, by the way. ;)

I don't watch football, so my night wasn't made happy/disappointing by which teams won or lost, but my team won at our scrimmage tonight. :) I don't know how many points I scored, but I'm going to guess it was somewhere around 15-20...turns out I'm a pretty good jammer. I had no idea.

I feel so sorry for Namibia. Watching the end of their game against Wales, they looked exhausted.

Also, I really, really wish I was in Liverpool this week :(

    I meant writing a new novel :p

It's kind of matured in the planning this weekend. Gone from being a bit of a menagerie of creatures and the best of steampunk to being a bit more measured. More in the murder mystery plus political manoeuvrings with airships thrown in vein right now. I just need to start it.

Mmm, speaking of steampunk, I'm making a steampunk dress to go to homecoming with my friends. We're all gonna be a steampunk crew. :D

That sounds awesome, Gigi. Please post pics.

Feeling hot, hot, hot... clouds, where are you?

Also, feeling nervous about Sunday because I'm seeing Mackenzie Crook (he's talking about his acting career and how he wrote a book) and apparently he's going to be at the End of Festival party for volunteers that I'm going to.

Is it a big festival? It sounds pretty big if there are actors coming.

It's the dead of night for me and I'm trying to brain storm for a poem I'm supposed to turn in for Creative Writing class. It's due tomorrow and the topics I can write about are death, family member, a work of art, or a poem in a traditional structure and not free verse.

But whenever I get started on writing I end up going on and on about my planned story for Nanowrimo... My characters are taking over my brain...

I've been thinking about doing Nano this year, but I don't think I will. I have the steampunk novel and my anthology to work on (more details in the sig, once I've written the info on the site), and with job hunting and travelling also going on it's one bit of writing too many.

I was intending to do NaNoWriMo this year so I could beat my 36k? 39k? something like that last year but considering it's my final year at uni, I don't want to put even more pressure on myself.

Uhh, I dunno if it's big. Apparently it's the only festival in England to focus on Children's Literature or something. Mackenzie Crook is only going because he's written a book too. :p

Oh man that reminds to start musing about a children's book, first I need a cute little wood land protagonist, haha.

And what is all this Nano stuff? I've been seeing it around many a blog. Is it something I register for?

I had a terrible go last year. Needless to say my count was in the single digits. I don't know if I'll try again, though.

It's a stressful and sometimes heartbreaking experience but if you ask me... I think it's totally worth it. Mostly because it really lights a fire under my procrastinating butt and I can write my story, really write my story without pausing for a few days, thinking it over too much and freaking out about it to the point that I just wanna scrap it all and start over.

But yeah, I had to pause for two years during my last runs in high school a.k.a junior and senior year. Although senior year was tragic when my nanowrimo file ended up getting lost after I just reached 10K.

I've been hearing about this NaNoWriMo business for years, but I've never tried it myself. I think I might this year, though, just for shits and giggles.

I had a blast playing with my Highschool band last night. Too bad our football team blew the game. Oh well, still a fun night though. Can't wait to be in High-school next year. :)

I have my dress fitting coming up, hopefully my lovely grandma can finish it in time for homecoming. If not, at least I have a unique dress. :)

    ^ Ooh nice. :)

I was coming back from uni yesterday on the bus and it was quite odd. The bus driver shouted 'does anybody want to get off?' at each stop, and if you didn't shout that you did, she didn't stop. We press a button to indicate we need to get off, since when was that not enough? Thankfully on my stop someone eventually shouted they did so she stopped and I could get off but otherwise I would've had to stay on until someone else got off because I don't have the guts to shout out like that. I just hope I don't get that bus driver again.
