    Home tomorrow for the Christmas holidays and it's looking like it'll be a trouble free journey home for a change. :D

    Or maybe not. Just checked the weather and it's supposed to be snow and/or sleet. I'm still optimistic though!

    Waking up to an email asking for a bio for an anthology which is publishing one of my stories (and which I'd half forgotten about) is much better than my usual routine of waking up to rejections :)

    Now I have time to myself, and away from my studies, I've been writing. Started jotting down notes for a story set in WWII which quickly mutated into the start of a first draft. I've only got just over 1,000 words, but it's just great to be writing real stories again.

    OMG!!! <Barrels in with sheer excitment> I PASSED MY FINALS!! Especially with the toughest class, Greek/Roman history! 8D All As and Bs!

    I was convinced that I was going to get a C in that class, BUT I WAS WRONG!

    Got offered a role for the Paralympics! :D I have a feeling the fact I mentioned helping a disabled visitor helped me get it aha. I don't know if I'm going to accept it yet, it's to be a 'transport team member' and from the little description of it it's basically greeting clients, monitoring traffic and giving venue/transport information. I'm not sure if I want to do that. But on the other hand, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Hmm, got two weeks to decide anyhow.
