Summary and Scene in Fiction Writing

Summary and Scene

Don't read the first couple of paragraphs as this is an ongoing blog and they have nothing to do with the rest. Breaks down simply the purposes of both and when to use them. Good for identifying when to actually make a scene, and when to just move along the plot with a summary as to not bore the reader.

    3/5,
This resource does a good job of explaining when to write a summary narrative. She does not differentiate between scene, sequel, and summary. That can be found with other resources.
