I used to have a list like this. Except it was "25 things I want to do before I'm 30." And I think I was Christian at the time, so many of them had to do with church. Anywho... 10.) Have sex on a trampoline: It just sounds like fun. 9.) Get a PhD in astronomy: My ticket to changing the path of humankind. 8.) Travel to every continent: Have to explore this world before I move on to exploring extraterrestrial ones. 7.) Become fluent in at least two more languages: Or one and a half. I'm already pretty good at Spanish. A world-traveling astronomer needs to be multilingual. 6.) Start a revolution: Could be fun. 5.) Have a hand in advancing deep-space exploration: If I can't go there myself, I would at least like to have a hand in sending people to new planets, maybe even new solar systems. 4.) Learn to play drums: I can't sing, and my hands are too small for guitar. I have to be a rockstar somehow. 3.) Drive across the country by myself: What can I say? I'm good company. 2.) Have a Byzantine-style mosaic on my kitchen floor: I know, it'll be hard to clean. But it'll be sweet. 1.) Own a house with a huge, wrap-around front porch: I don't care if I have a tiny one-bedroom house. I want to be able to hold a grand party on my front porch.
Really? Sex on a trampoline? I don't know, that actually sounds like it could be quite painful. Also, I'm sure that someone has to manufacture a guitar small enough for you to feel comfortable. Maybe a one designed for children? (Not some little toy )
I've tried to learn guitar. I had one of those 3/4 size ones. I wasn't very good at it. I've already decided, it's going to be drums. And yes, on a trampoline. Nothing you say will convince me that that would not be awesome. Edit: And where's your list, Adamant?
My Ten in No Order Whatsoever Didn't really think about this in advance, so maybe there are some things I'd want to change. Again, these are in no particular order. 01. Make an award-winning/best-selling story, though not necessarily in written form 02. Become a pilot at some point; or at least I think I'd like that 03. Own a Subaru Impreza WRX STI, and some other really nice cars 04. Travel to different areas of the world, especially Japan and Europe 05. Become more skilled in the world of music (guitar, drums, and singing -- if that's possible) 06. I am not dying as a virgin, I absolutely refuse 07. On a related subject, I'd like to follow that whole love path and whatnot (find the one, or someone of equal value... haha) 08. Get in a position where I am able to help others (in finances and knowledge) 09. Find a way to at least emulate all the powers I have thought of giving my characters in my story currently titled Iconoclast. 10. Go to a concert. ---- And one for after death ---- 11. Figure out the truth to all this religious business

This might be depressing since i've made up one of these most years and not accomplished much. On another note i have done some of other people's goals such as visit the louvre (wear comfortable shoes- i spent 7 hours walking around there) and gone to Uni. 1 Make a difference for the better - oh how cheesey that sounds and I'm not sure what that would be -oh young and idealist i perhaps am - but i'd like to take down a few greedy people, organisations which make money out of the suffering of others. Start a left wing movement that has reachable goals or if not in frustration bomb all companies that rip people off (only joking :S- is big brother listening?) 2 Be self sufficient - on many levels, like to rely on self not on parents or government for anything - like perhaps stick electic panels to roof, make own energy etc. I don't like buying products from corrupt regimes but that's quite a hard thing not to do. 3 Write something original (is that still possible?) and worth saying - I'm not sure I'm into this get into the best seller list that seems more about the fame and money than what has actually been written as a look at the popular books selling in any book shop will show. 4 Become fluent in Spanish - (I am quite good at reading and writing, I'm just a bit apprehensive when it comes to conversation despite living in Spain for a year ), French, German and Russian (going there soon to a language school) quite a challenge but I'm giving it a go. 5 Spend a year in Paris - I spent a week there and absoloutley loved it, it's the friendliest city i have been to. I'd also like to learn French so the perfect opportunity. I also thought about writing a play here but that seems cheesey but who knows... 6 Get my play shown at a major London Theatre 7 Learn how to act and perform in something 8 Get a Black Belt in a martial art - I'm blue belt in Tae kwon do - but had quite a rest period, I'm thinking of trying ju jisu - looks quite interesting with weapons 9 Sail the world - (I hate flying will never go on another plane in my life, so I go everywhere by train - or cargo boat if i ever go to south america) But one time when I was sitting at a beach in Greece this amazingly beautiful sailing boat came into view-it was a lovely sunny day -and some of the 'crew' got into a row boat and came to shore, got supplies and rowed back out and soon the boat was sailing away - I thought what a romantic life.... 10 Be more courageous, confident - more assertive, not so scared about death, people. - Perhaps risk life for another's. Also be more tolerant and more at peace with self-Accept I can't control everything and shouldn't try 11 Fall in love and all that package - ok an extra one but this is quite important to me although seems the furtherest out of reach (oh woe!) Ok most are quite idealist but i guess that's the way goals should be. I wrote these on the spot I'm sure I could miss some and there are important ones missing...
Done that one several times. In the process of doing that one. I've finished two now that are looking good and about to start the third. Anyway: 1. Own a Subaru Impreza (preferably orange) 2. Live where it snows all winter. 3. Be on my own. 4. Help my daughters fulfill their lives for themselves. 5. Meet my soulmate. 6. Paint that perfect picture. 7. Write that perfect story. 8. Paraglide. 9. Own the Martini factory. 10. Get my knees fixed. All in no particular order. Number four being the most important though.
You too want to own a Subaru Impreza WRX STI? Hmm... though I don't believe I've even seen one in orange. When they are in my presence, I do a little bow to them.
I've got to confess that I'm not bothered about the particular model. So long as it's not the estate version. If I had enough money to buy a new one then I'd get it painted orange because it's my favourite colour (sad I know). It's the sound of the engine that I love and I have been known to follow the odd one here and there with the windows down just to hear the noise (also very sad - I'm a Subaru stalker:redface Did you know that it is the car with the greatest driver satisfaction? It's also the fastest (and most satisifying) way to lose your licence.
