    seems

    Hi,everyone.

There's another multiple choice question I would like you to help me with.It goes as follows:

"It seems that she was there at the conference." The sentence means that
    A. she seems to be there at the conference.
    B. she seemed to be there at the conference.
    C. she seems to have been there at the conference.
    D. she seemed to being there at the conference.

I will choose B, but I also think C is acceptable, if not better.

    Thanks.

c is the only one that really matches... B does not...
