When you really get into an Author, do you also get a kind of afterglow for a while where you think in their Voice? I do that all the time. Like just now did my profile.... put down Owl and the Pussycat down as a favourite...and then came here to introduce myself. Stared at the blank page for a bit and this is what I got: I'm a big fat pussycat looking for Owls to help me cross a sea. To not despise first person 'I's but stand naked and Claim: this is me. and sure....why not! That's my 5th poem ever and I wrote 2 yesterday. I suck and it's OK. Don't hold back.
